FretSee turns your iPhone into a complete practice companion for guitar: a precise tuner, a live note detector, and a fretboard that lights up as you play.

TUNER
Tune by ear-level precision without the guesswork. The illuminated dial shows exactly how far each string is off, automatically detects which string you're playing, and confirms with a sound and a gentle tap when you hit the center. Choose from Standard, Drop D, Drop C, Open G, Open D, and All 4ths tunings — or lock a single string while you work on it.

LIVE NOTE DETECTION
Play any note and FretSee names it instantly — pitch, frequency, intonation, and the most likely string and fret. Perfect for checking your ear, exploring the neck, or finding that note you keep hearing in a song.

THE FRETBOARD THAT PLAYS ALONG
Strum a chord or pick a melody and watch the notes glow across a beautifully rendered fretboard — every playable position, with the best one highlighted. Below it, your notes appear in real music notation as you play, so you can literally watch your playing become sheet music.
