Frex does that. They give ~40cents (Feb)above Google rate, as of now, hope it stays the same. But app was pretty basic and stupid. There is no proper profile management, viewing, editing, etc. And only link accounts and transfer, so no debit credit cards transfers,etc. Mainly, we can only keep 1 Indian account and 1 US account added, both should be under your name( frex profile name). So cant send to your family, etc.. directly. Hope they resolve this primary features asap. Update- rates are down to ~20 cents (April) above google rate and still haven’t added any primary features. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Doesn’t support NRE transfers *2026-06-14, version 5.11.0* I tried transferring to NRE account twice it failed and very bad customer support experience ### 1/5 — Poor onboarding and unclear NRE support *2026-05-20, version 5.10.0* The app allowed me to link my NRE account during signup, but later rejected it and left me stuck without a clear resolution. Support then suggested linking a regular savings account, which is concerning for a remittance app where account type and compliance matter. If NRE accounts are not supported, this should be clearly stated upfront. Don’t get trap ### 1/5 — BEWARE they don’t offer NRO accounts transfer *2026-05-03, version 5.7.4* As an NRI, you need to transfer your money to an NRO account to save on taxes, but flex pay don’t transfer money to NRO it only transfers to NRE account where you get taxed for the money you sent to India. They also say you can transfer to regular bank account. As an NRI, you cannot have regular bank account. ### 1/5 — Worst service and delay in refund *2026-04-16, version 5.7.1* I’m writing this feedback while there is refund for failed transaction still not processed after almost 1 month and would you believe that amount was thankfully $10 which was debited from my bank account but transfer to foreign ac was unsuccessful. But though they acknowledged and confirmed that they will refund, its almost a-month now and i’m yet to get my $10 back. Imagine if that amount was more. First of all they dont have any help mechanism i.e. you have to only mail them then their person who is having personal number will reach you but wont help. Ideally they should provide chat service and quick help. Hence please avoid sending money. Initially, I was a bit skeptical since it’s not a well-known name. I started with small transfers, and everything went through smoothly,so far, so good. rating it 4 stars mainly because the UI is simple and the exchange rates are very competitive. However, customer service needs improvement. For one issue, I had to escalate and even reach out to the founder, who was responsive and helpful. There are still some bugs and areas to improve. For example, I initially added a recipient as Bank1 and made a few transactions. Later, I removed it and added Bank2, but transfers were still going to the old bank account, this issue has been reported but not yet fixed.
