The first attempt just hangs on a wheel of death and then I have to wait a while before the second attempt, which connects. The other fault is that the distances are wildly inaccurate. Not everyone is using a VPN to spoof their location but I still see people "94" Km away who turn out to be the other side of the world. Worse, it treats transgender people as being other than their identified gender. Sometimes not. They haven’t update in decades. Even after I filed a complaint against the scam accounts created by the same scammer. Fridae still approved this scammer of using my photo in his profile. I reported that scammer a few days ago, but now I still haven’t heard from Fridae yet! The scammer is still using my photo right now while I am writing this review! As a 10-year-old loyal Fridae user. I am very disappointed! Sometimes I wonder if the Fridae admin is working with the scammers? Why are there so many scammers? What’s the point of a dating app if you can never go on a date because the guy is really across the planet? ### 1/5 — another outdated, horribly unmanaged site. *2022-12-27, version 4.1* The profiles, and photos that had been posted over 2 decades past, i wouldn’t be surprised to find out that many members with posted profiles have been deceased for the past decade (yes that’s how old these profile and photos are). There is no moderator or simple, system to verify and update member activity (for a pulse)! This platform is nothing but a graveyard with profiles which serve as tombstones to illustrate those that we’re once alive. ### 1/5 — Very Bad **** *2022-10-08, version 4.1* It’s not support with IOS 16 . The only pseudo search is automatic radar. Very weak... Push notifications are too much! Example: If some other dude looks at my profile, and then sends me a heart, and then asks to see vault pix, I get 3 separate notifications. Seriously? That's nuts! Email/texts that are chopped off when using the app! The reader can only view the entire message on a computer. How about automatically rolling it over into a new message?? Or at least guidelines on character count? There are also numerous malfunction issues: 1. Settings don't stay set. Some mysteriously go back to default! 2. Annoying continuous crashes whenever I edit/delete messages & hearts. 3. Über annoying Fridae perks renewal notifications -that show up EVERY time I use the app, and which redirects me to purchase!!! I still keep in touch with FRIDAE friends but no longer use the perks function as there is no incentive vs rewards for long term member / contributors. So many members tell me they rarely visit now.
