## What is Friday Durood?

Friday Durood is a durood app specifically designed for 7 consecutive Friday durood recitations.

In the book Ihya Uloom al Deen of Imam Ghazali, it is reported that on the day of judgement the Prophet (peace be upon him) will intercede for those who read this salawat sharif 7 times for 7 Fridays.

Durood for intercession is also one of the darood sharif (darood shareef) which is mentioned in Dalail al Khairat 
(دلائل الخیرات, Dalail al khayrat, dala'ilul khairat, dalail ul hayrat, dalail ul khirat)

Durood for intercession (Salawat for intercession) application includes Arabic Font, transliteration in English and also the English meaning. Friday Durood app remembers the last Friday that you recited the Durood Shareef so that you can continue from where you left off when you relaunch the app. Friday Durood application automatically records how many Fridays you have completed the durud sharif and the date you last completed the darud sharif.
