## What is Fridge.Menu?

Fridge.Menu is a kitchen that helps itself: what's at home, what to cook, and what to buy.

RECIPES FROM ANYWHERE
• Paste a link, photograph a cookbook page or a handwritten recipe, paste text, or add a cooking video
• Share from Safari, Instagram, TikTok or Telegram — or pin Fridge.Menu to your share sheet's Favorites
• AI picks out the title, ingredients and steps, and adds a short piece on what makes the dish work

WHAT'S AT HOME
• Your pantry: add food by typing or by scanning a barcode
• The app keeps track of what's about to go off and reminds you
• Recipes show what's missing — and what you have, but canned or frozen

A SHOPPING LIST THAT FILLS ITSELF
• What a recipe is missing goes on the list in one tap
• What's already at home never reaches the list
• In the shop, everyone's phone shows who picked up what, and the chat lets you ask @fridge

A WEEK THAT PLANS ITSELF
• A week of meals from what you have and what you like
• Everything the plan needs lands on the shopping list

TOGETHER WITH YOUR FAMILY
• One pantry, one list and one plan for the whole family
• Invite them with a QR code, or just hold two phones together

HANDS-FREE COOKING
• Step-by-step cooking mode with timers on the Lock Screen
• Voice commands — "next", "back", "repeat" — recognised on the phone itself

AI ASSISTANT
• Ask what to cook, what to substitute, or how to fit a recipe to your diet and allergies
• Pick its tone: Friend, Chef or Grandma

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.4 — 2026-10-11

Your recipes can now have a public page of their own — and a link to a recipe opens right in the app.
• Publish a recipe to your own public blog: a page anyone can read, no account needed
• My blog: your address, the switches, every post with its state, collections, and scheduling a week of posts at once
• Open a Fridge.Menu recipe link straight in the app, keep it in one tap, and carry on from a fresh install
• Report a recipe from the app, and see why one of yours was held
• Recipe sections such as "For serving" show on the recipe and in cooking mode, and you can add, rename and move them in the editor
• After setup the import screen opens once, so your first recipe is one tap away
• Feedback is now a conversation: Settings › My feedback shows what you sent and our answers, and lets you write back — we can notify you when we reply
• Follow authors you like: their new recipes appear on Home and on Today, and an author's page shows everything they publish
• Open a post to save it, add it to your plan or start cooking — and translate it into your language
• The assistant shows the recipes it finds as cards
• In a family, choose whether a recipe you add is yours or shared
• A recipe's story has its own place in the editor, and your words are never rewritten
• A faster first launch: the app downloads ingredients only in your language

### 1.3 — 2026-09-29

Fridge.Menu Pro — an optional plan for people who cook with the assistant every day: an unlimited AI assistant and no hourly limits. Yearly with a 7-day free trial, or once and for all. Everything else stays free.
• Recipe names in the assistant's answers are links, and the chips under them open the recipe
• Ingredients show their names in your language, with amounts rounded the way you cook
• Settings › Language changes the whole app at once
• Recipes shared from X (Twitter) import, with the video and the author's own reply
• A long import can be closed — the recipe arrives in your collection when it is ready
• Icons on the ingredients you pick when you set up the pantry

### 1.2 — 2026-09-27

Fridge.Menu now speaks your language — 23 of them, from Catalan to Japanese: the app, the ingredient catalog, the assistant and cooking mode.
• Recipes you open come in your language, with the original one tap away
• Ask the assistant whether something is in the pantry, and put what is missing on the list in one tap
• Imports in progress show up in your collection, and a long one tells you when it is done
• A week of meals that respects the allergies of everyone at the table

### 1.1 — 2026-09-25

Fridge.Menu grew from a recipe box into a kitchen:
• A pantry with a barcode scanner and reminders about what's about to go off
• A shopping list that picks up what's missing and skips what's already at home
• Shop together, with a chat and @fridge
• A week of meals, planned for you
• One pantry, list and plan for the whole family
• Every recipe now explains itself: what matters and how not to get it wrong
• Fridge.Menu in your share sheet's Favorites
• Messages in the family chat can be reported
