My husband is in the military so he’s hardly home so I literally don’t have anyone to talk to or hang out with. Apparently the app is not open in my area and the only way for me to open it in my area is to send it to my friends, except I don’t have any here. Don’t bother downloading this app. **Developer response:** Hey there, Thank you for sharing your experience. Friendly is currently live only in select NYC neighborhoods, which is why you received the message about your area. We completely understand how frustrating that can feel, especially when all you want is someone nearby to talk to or meet. We’re expanding city by city so we can make sure every user has real, local matches, not empty feeds. How does that even work? Don’t bother downloading this negative star app. **Developer response:** Hi there, and first thank you for trying Friendly. We hear you. Friendly was built by women, for women, with safety at the heart of everything we do. For us, it’s not a feature, it’s the foundation. That’s why, during our early (alpha) launch, access was limited to invites or a quick validation step, to make sure every woman who steps into the village knows she’s entering a trusted space. You found us right in the middle of that early phase (which honestly makes you a pioneer 🙌). We’re just a few weeks away from opening more broadly, but we’d love to personally welcome you in now. Friendly helped me find moms around me and we meet for coffee and walks at prospect park. It makes it so easy to find real life connections.
