Friendor is the network for wedding vendors. Photographers, DJs, planners, coordinators, florists, videographers, hair & makeup, caterers, officiants, photo booth pros — the people who actually work weddings. Not a booking site. Not a couples-facing marketplace. A colleague network. You already know your circle: the photographers you second-shoot with, the DJs who pass you a gig when they're already booked, the planners who have a preferred-vendor list. Friendor is where that circle lives online — a private feed where you post gigs, message peers directly, and back each other up. POST A GIG IN 30 SECONDS. • Role, date, location, pay, gear notes, photos. • Urgent tag when the wedding's this weekend. • Every colleague in your area sees it — no algorithm burying it. • Apply and Message buttons live inline on every feed card. No buried detail screens. BACKFILL EMERGENCIES WITHOUT THE GROUP-TEXT SCRAMBLE. • Second shooter cancelled the day before? Post it, get replies within minutes. • DJ family emergency Saturday morning? The photographer → DJ → planner chain has already seen it before you're done typing. • The feed is filtered by role and location, so you're not spamming florists with lead-photographer asks. COMMUNITY BY DESIGN. Friendor doesn't try to look like every other social app. The visual language is a retro desktop window — title bar, menu bar, beveled buttons. On purpose. This is a workspace for pros, not a scrolling loop optimized for engagement metrics. No lead capture, no vendor tiers pushed to your clients, no marketplace where couples browse you like a catalog. This is for vendors, between vendors. SAFE COMMUNITY. Every gig, profile, and DM has a Report action and a Block. Reports go into a moderation queue reviewed within 24 hours. Blocks take effect immediately and hide the blocked user's gigs, profile, and DMs from your view. WHO THIS IS FOR. Working wedding vendors. Photographers, videographers, DJs, planners, coordinators, florists, hair & makeup pros, caterers, officiants, photo booth operators, day-of coordinators. Find your circle. ## Version history (last 3 releases) ### 1.0.2 — 2026-08-23 Booking gigs and hiring vendors just got smoother: - Share gigs: every gig now has a share link you can send anywhere, and shared links open right in the app - Send a gig to a vendor: pick one of your connections and the gig lands in your DMs as a tappable card - Flexible pay: describe pay your way on gigs and urgent backfills, like $125/hr, $1000 flat, or negotiable - Edit your gig: owners can update details straight from the gig screen - Applicants you know come first: connected vendors sort to the top of your applicant list - Chat fixes: the message box now stays above the keyboard, and application notifications open the right gig - Plus small fixes and polish throughout ### 1.0.1 — 2026-08-17 Fixed • Fixed a crash that could appear when opening your own profile from the feed. • Posting a gig could fail with a generic error message. This was the big one — gig posting is reliable again, and if a required field is missing the form now tells you which one. • The comment box no longer hides behind the keyboard on gig details. • Assorted keyboard, safe-area, and chat fixes throughout the app. New • The Privacy Policy and Terms of Service are now readable inside the app, and signup links to both. • Forgot your password? You can now reset it by email from the sign-in screen. • Report and Block are available on vendor profiles, gig posts, and chats. • Filter the feed to unfilled gigs only. Gigs marked filled now stay visible as a settled listing instead of vanishing. • You get a notification when someone accepts or declines your booking request.
