## What is Friends?

Friends is a giving and community platform that connects Coptic Orthodox churches, parishioners, and communities in supporting vulnerable children across Egypt.

Built on the Coptic Orthodox values of love, compassion, and service, Friends empowers churches both in Egypt and throughout the diaspora to work together in caring for children and families in need. Through one trusted platform, churches can coordinate support, strengthen community connections, and witness the impact of every act of generosity.

Why Friends?

For centuries, the Coptic Orthodox Church has faithfully served those in need, answering Christ's call:

"Whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me." — Matthew 25:40

Today, many children across Egypt continue to face challenges such as poverty, limited educational opportunities, healthcare needs, and family hardship. Friends brings this mission into the digital age by making charitable outreach more connected, transparent, and accessible for every church community.
