Hi, I have downloaded the app but it’s simply not working. All system requirements are there, but all I see is a white screen. Have been following the IG page and would love the opportunity to use the app

Love this app but hope we can filter hot and cold it would save us from wasting time on finding the price and budget control 

And so many people do not say it is hot but acctually there is a fixed price for bills. I think the app should encourage people to be honest about the price, in stead of trying to make the price looks cheaper but actually it increased it subtly. 

If we could list the bill range price on the first place - be more transparent, it could save a lot our time to find the right place. Unless this is the trick of running the app by increasing how much time we need to spend and pay the boost fee when people getting too frustrated.

great tool for finding flats but the messaging section is very glitchy, i have received notifications with nothing new in the chat and also sent messages that just don’t deliver / disappear on my end

Their search and filter features don’t really work making it really hard to find something that’s actually useful to without having to go over the map manually

Great concept, but the apps been such a let down. I’ve had tones of interest in my place but anytime I’ve gone to accept a chat with someone they disappear, which means I’ve missed out on a load of great potential house mates. Also it seems that my matches only show up after I’ve declined someone. Lots slipping through the cracks

Since then, we’ve completely rebuilt the app from the ground up and addressed all of these problems (and much more). Matches, chats, and filters should now work seamlessly. I cant see chats of people i have approved, I know for a fact people have liked my flat but I cannot see them/ they disappear. The app doesnt transfer approved people to my chat log,
essentially making the app useless.

It’s a well-built app but as a seeker I get *no* responses now. (Where I used to get dozens on their IG feed). You probably need Boost, which costs a subscription. That’s fair but the pricing is more than SpareRoom now. Maybe think of a subscription model to let you see the Insta handle of listings to contact them there? It lost all the social grid of Instagram, so you can’t see your mutuals anymore. I get absolutely no responses on the app despite dozens of requests, when on Insta my profile got tons of offers (and paid for a subscription.)

It might be decent but the map doesn’t load at all so I can’t see rooms. I’ve tried re-downloading the app etc but no fix, just a loading wheel and a blurred map

In theory this is a great app. But it seems glitchy, sending requests with absolutely zero response. The only time I’ve gotten a response is when I sent a boost, but now cannot buy any extra boost (clicking the button and nothing happens).

I know this app is new but it’s a far slower process than when it was on instagram. The request viewing option is really annoying because I really just want to send a message. Nobody has gotten back to me about a single apartment and it’s been awhile. There are such beautiful apartments available I wish there was a way their instagrams were linked or something because I don’t think people are checking.

Posting every property manually on Instagram was super time-consuming, so we’ve built the app to give full control to the people listing their rooms. That way, we can focus on improving the experience and helping you find not just anyone, but flatmates you’ll actually want to live with.

App never loads from Home Screen and only sometimes via their links. Map is constantly broken and app freezes. Paid £4.99 to message early. App crashed after payment and then after message as well.

“early access” feature means no one can respond to my ad unless i pay £20 - which is insanely steep! not everyone who needs this app is getting bankrolled by mummy and daddy. i also have no way of knowing when the time period elapses and my room ad will just be up like normal. according to their website t&cs “The Early Access Period: • Is determined by us at our discretion • May vary by listing, city, region, demand, or other factors • May change at any time • Not all listings are subject to Early Access”… and nothing in the app clarifies this - it’s so unclear. i never used to mind how glitchy this app was but now i do. like i can’t view what my profile or my ad looks like to others. glitchy messages that disappear. often the app is just unresponsive or stays stuck on a blank loading screen.

We clearly need to do a better job explaining how Early Access works and when listings become free to contact, and we've already made some updates to the copy to make this clearer.

We've also recently released an update that addresses a number of the root causes behind issues like blank loading screens and general app stability. We're a small team, but improving reliability and the overall experience remains our biggest focus right now.

Appreciate you taking the time to leave detailed feedback. It's tough to read, but it helps us improve.

I purchased the premium subscription, but the app is extremely buggy so requests to people don’t always send, and I got almost no responses to any inquiries I had made. The one response I did get turned out to be an elaborate scam which I only discovered by reverse google searching the flat images. Other platforms are better than this app.

Rich kids trying to make money of the house daddy bought them by making you pass there personal talent show while they cos play poverty and raise the rent prices for everyone else .

Not sure who or why somone thought this was a good idea if your a self centred egomaniac with more money then sense you will love this app

Renting my room through Friends of Friendz was easier (and a far better experience) than any other established website I’ve ever used! The people reaching out for my sublet had a lot in common with me and were folks I’d honestly hangout with irl. I was able to pre-screen people’s potential fit for my flat share and find someone quickly who was a dream fit! Such a relief and saved me so much time on interviews in the end 🙌 Will use again and definitely suggesting this app to my friends 😏
