And it’s been fun to see who else has decorations in my area! It might take a day or so for your house to show up on the map. And any edits you do will remove your location from the map for a few days. My suggestion to the developer is to leave up the original approved location ping, info and old photos so haunts stay on the map for new viewers to see and update to the new info or photos when a human can verify its safe. That way people don’t get missed or feel like they aren’t discoverable while waiting for updates. Because I know a lot of us collectors will get a new item and add it into the display and then can be hesitant about updating the apps info for fear of not being discoverable. Even thought the new props or whatever might bring in a bigger crowd! But this isn’t a big enough issue to lose a star in the rating over. Fantastic app! Run your light show from your phone. FrightMaps now finds xLights and Falcon Player controllers on your Wi-Fi and starts, stops and switches shows — no laptop in the yard. Skelly can perform, not just talk. Expressive voice lets him whisper, sigh and laugh, and he decides where those belong. You choose which effects he's allowed to use, so nothing turns up you didn't ask for. Pick the language he answers in. Twelve languages, including German, Spanish, French and Japanese — no extra cost on any plan. Lethal Lily is supported. She's found automatically and gets her own controls for her wrist, elbow, head, eyes and lantern. The Skelly screen makes sense now. Everything he says is in one place, everything he does is in another, and Live Mode finally explains that pairing your phone to Skelly over Bluetooth is what makes his jaw move. Ask Alexa what's near you. "Alexa, what haunted houses are near me?" now answers without needing the app's name every time, and the results on screen are worth looking at. Fixes: firing a prop from out of Bluetooth range did nothing, silently — now it goes over the internet instead. Audio uploads to Ultra Skelly v2 failed before the first chunk was written, and now they don't. Uploads also show real progress and warn you not to leave. One controller found on several addresses is listed once, not three times, and searching no longer comes up empty when the local-network prompt appears. ### 5.0.5 — 2026-08-14 What's New in 5.0.5 Alexa is here.
