FRITZ!App Fon verbindet sich über WLAN mit Ihrer FRITZ!Box, um zu Hause komfortabel über Festnetz und Internet zu telefonieren. This is not a functional app. Fritz seem to say everything is easy when it is not. Things don’t work as described. 
Also it is difficult to find further guidance in the web. Overall more hazzle than it is worth. Also the type face is hard to read and is not intuitive or user friendly.

This is a great alternative to the traditional phone BUT could the iOS app have a badge so I know if I’ve missed a call without having to go into the app every time?

Das Verbinden und Einrichten der App ist relativ einfach und verdient ein großes Lob. Allerdings verbindet sich mein Mobiltelefon nicht immer sofort reibungslos mit der FRITZ!Box.. Hinzukommt, dass die Sprachqualität laut meinen Gesprächspartnern ab und zu sehr schlecht ist. Dafür kann natürlich nun Fritz nicht unbedingt etwas, Denn meine Leitung läuft über die Telekom, aber das ist natürlich das Ergebnis, welches ich bekomme. Aufgrund der hin und wieder schlechten Gesprächsqualität, und der nicht immer gegebenen Verbindung zur FRITZ!Box, nur zwei Sterne

Nachtrag: auf meine Rezession hat der Entwickler sehr schnell und zeitnah reagiert, und mich gebeten Daten zu senden. Zugleich wurde ein Update ausgeführt, welches die Probleme beh Jetzt läuft die App ohne Probleme und ich bin sehr zufrieden. Klasse SERVICE, man erkennt das hier der Wille zur Verbesserung gegeben ist.

Zen connectivity is very poor despite calls to their support team and adjustments made. Calls are dropped or break up and this is particularly bad with this app. Dect quality is not much better. WiFi calling is fine on our mobiles and we have a full Fritz Mesh system.
We are going to have to drop our landline and rely totally on  mobile calling. Ironically the best quality is FaceTime or WhatsApp!

Insgesamt alles was AVM macht funktioniert meistens immer. Der YouTube Kanal wird super gepflegt und jede Frage wird da perfekt beantwortet. Zur App man hat das komplette Haustelefon immer bei Via VPN auch noch sicher und zuverlässig. Die Qualität ist bei mir perfekt in beiden Richtungen. Das Telefonbuch hat man immer mit sowie die Anrufliste was die letzten Gespräche waren. Man kann von überall über den Festnetzanschluss telefonieren. Man kann Weiterleiten lassen oder ein Handy als Festnetz zu Hause haben. Es ist also nicht zwingend nötig ein separates Festnetz Telefon zu haben. Zusätzlich kann man Intern oder auch Konferenzschaltung sehr einfach machen so können alle Zuhörer auch zur passenden Zeit alles mitbekommen aber auch von überall. Jedes Gerät das WLAN oder Mobilfunk sowie Lautsprecher und Micro hat kann man zum Telefonieren nutzen und das beste ist es Kinderleicht einzurichten aber auch zu bedienen. Der Anrufbeantworter kann natürlich auch überall abgehört werden. Vielen Dank an das gesamte AVM es funktioniert und wird immer verbessert auf weitere Jahre

I’d avoid going digital if you can. App does not integrate well with phone. If you’re connected to a Bluetooth speaker, the app won’t override that. You’ll have no mic and you’ll hear the other person through the speaker. You’ll lose CLIP on your DECT phones, so you won’t know who’s calling. Friz may do reasonable routers.  Call quality also suffers if the router is handling lots of traffic.

L’applicazione funziona bene. 
Bug presente:
Quando arriva una chiamata e si ha la VPN attiva non ci sentono e non si sente l’interlocutore. Da correggere immediatamente.
Il passaggio al viva voce o cuffie non è così immediato come lo è per le altre app (si perdono sempre 2/3 secondi di conversazione). 
Sarebbe possibile aggiungere un’app per Apple Watch dato che ora con watchOS 9 è disponibile CallKit e quindi si possono effettuare e ricevere chiamate su app di terze parti ?
