I used the apps expert technology train my ear to be able to hear peepers from miles away. One day I heard a peeper right outside my door. I was so exited. I forgot I was paralyzed. I stood up to go catch the sucker and it wasn’t until I had bested the beast that I realized I was standing and walking.
