Joystick controls and map rotation feel a bit janky though, personally, don’t like how you have to make separate swipes for opposite directions when rotating. ### 5/5 — Scratches the Monument Valley Itch *2025-11-08* Fun, cute, and remarkably difficult after level 10. The premise is really simple, but some of the levels are genuinely challenging the higher you go. It's the perfect game for when you want just a bit of fun while waiting for an appointment, on the train, anything that doesn't take a big time commitment (that being said, I could easily see myself putting a movie on the TV and just playing this for hours straight.) On top of that, the art style is really clean and distinct. The levels, while simple, are very pleasing to look at and generates a really nice, chill vibe to encourage how challenging some of the puzzles can be. This team did a great job, especially for a team I haven't seen before. I’m generally hesitant to spend on mobile games, but in this game I’m immensely glad I did. The game looks and runs amazing and its use of optical illusions add a depth I didn’t think was possible. The pacing is perfectly balanced, so no strings of levels that are just the same thing over and over as fluff content. The game is well suited for people who want to sit and grind at it for hours or more casual players that only play while sitting in waiting rooms or the like. Some levels can be really tough, but not in an unfair way. I was usually stuck because I was missing a specific angle and once you get it, it’s a rewarding “aha!” moment where you feel accomplished for figuring it out. The art and little animations are very well done and the music is perfect for the atmosphere. It’s not overly chill music that will put you to sleep, but it’s also not high energy edm. Kind of difficult to articulate, but trust me, it works. The devs are HIGHLY receptive to input. They went as far as to patch a tiny little typo that was so small I felt bad even pointing it out. They did it within a couple hours. Literally saw what I said, went to the code, and fixed it right then. Obviously that won’t always be the case, but since there don’t seem to be any bugs or anything else wrong with the game, it’s kind of a moot point. It’s immediately apparent that they really care about their creation and want it to succeed. Lastly, there’s a small but growing discord server where you can go to seek help (if so inclined) with a level you may be stuck on, to offer game suggestions, etc. All in all, this is one of the best mobile games I’ve played so far, and I’m really excited to see what the devs have planned in the future. ### 5/5 — Exciting and Challenging *2025-09-28* I love playing this game. I was hesitant at first but for less than the price of a coffee and tipping your barista you get the best mobile game I’ve ever played. The concept is so imaginative and I was hooked instantly by the perspective changing the interactable environment. The music and SFX is absolutely delicious and I can trance out so hard while still feeling like I’m making my brain more athletic. The game looks and sounds beautiful, plays great, and makes me feel smart, challenged, and relaxed. No ads, microtransactions, or other classic pop up distractions is so goated. Deleted after 10 minutes ### 3/5 — Good but needs work *2026-05-04* - sound effects are mostly soothing but the frog croaks every time it moves which is grating - controls are not very sensitive and the frog often moves unintentionally (might be better to have a simple press and hold or point and click interface if the sensitivity can’t be fixed) -cute graphics - nice puzzles - tutorial was fine but could be more in depth for others not used to this type of game - could use some more contrast in levels to differentiate some block heights but mostly good **Developer response:** Hey thanks for the feedback - we improved the joystick controls in the latest update! The concept is similar, but, it ends there. So far I have not used a controller, but, it may be easier to control the mechanics than trying to use my Ipad touchscreen. I have a newer Ipad and the touchscreen controls with this game are clunky, and frustrating. I really wanted to like this game, and I may give an update once I try the controller. **Developer response:** Thanks for the feedback! Please add hints! ### 4/5 — Excellent game, well worth it *2025-11-30* This game is fascinating and very well designed. I really enjoy playing it and as it is well worth the price. Also very much appreciate that there are no ads or in-game purchases. This is the way a game should be. That being said, there are a few improvements I would like to see. Firstly, the controls are a little clunky, and sometimes a misclick will force me to restart a level (especially when on the purple blocks, for instance). Second, the sound does not work on my iPhone speakers, it only works when I’m wearing headphones. The sound and music is really pleasant though. Clearly a lot of work has gone into this game. It doesn’t quite feel finished yet, so I’m looking forward to the future updates. Also, for what it’s worth, I think on level 65 there’s a shortcut. I would love to see a WhatsApp group where fans of the game can communicate with the devs on future developments. ### 5/5 — Top notch perspective puzzler *2026-07-06* With how many good games there are with this mechanic, this might be my favorite.
