Well made ### 2/5 — Keeps Crashing *2026-06-20, version 3.38.0* Just a few hours since downloading this app and have linked couple of accounts. The app is auto categorising the transactions as it should. However it keeps hanging and not letting me navigate through the app. I have to force Kill it. ### 2/5 — Can’t even log in *2026-06-18, version 3.37.0* After creating an account, it asked for a code from email to verify. Not a big deal, very normal. However when I leave the app to get the code from my email it resets to the log in page?? It’s a cycle that can’t be broken as it keeps sending verification codes every time you try to go in. Frustrating would be an understatement! ### 3/5 — Good for tracking current spending, but reporting and account connections need improvement *2026-06-08, version 3.37.0* In general, Frollo is ok and works well enough for tracking my current expenses and getting a quick view of where my money is going. My main issues are with the historical spending reports and account connections. When I look at expenses for previous periods, the totals are often not accurate because not all transactions seem to be included in the category calculations. To get reliable figures, I usually have to export the data and do the calculations myself in a spreadsheet. I also have to relink my AMEX credit card almost daily, which becomes quite frustrating and makes it difficult to rely on the app for an up-to-date view of my finances. I’d also love to see more flexibility with categories. It would be much better to have categories and subcategories. For example, I’d like to track all my eating out expenses together while still being able to classify transactions as coffee, takeaway, restaurants, pubs, etc. At the moment, it feels too granular if I don’t want separate budgets for each of those. ### 3/5 — New update *2026-03-20, version 3.36.0* Can no longer change the merchant name in the new update and still can’t have more than one bill from the same supplier. ### 3/5 — Good but some bugs needs fixing *2026-03-09, version 3.35.0* While the overall design is good and helpful, syncing the credit card is so glitchy. Each transaction is showing up more than 100 times and the overall monthly spend is showing up in $5M+ which basically made the credit card sync unusable and I had to unlink the card account ### 4/5 — Great but glitchy *2026-02-28, version 3.35.0* I really like the app! However it seems to glitch a lot, doubling up transactions/bank accounts. I hope this glitch gets ironed out! ### 4/5 — Very good! *2026-02-14, version 3.34.0* This takes some initial setup (a few hours to go through and make sure everything is categorised correctly) but now that I’ve done that I think it will be a very useful app. Some things I wish I had realised before I started setting it up: - You can go into Settings > Security and change how much time passes before your password is required. It was very annoying to enter my password every single time I exited the app (e.g., to cross-reference a transaction in my bank account) so I wish I had changed this setting sooner! - To select multiple transactions at once, go to Portfolio > Transactions, and click ‘Select’ (in the top-left corner). This makes things SO much faster! - To delete or rename new categories you have made, go to Settings > Buckets & categories Also, definitely look things up on the Frollo website FAQ, this app has a lot more functionality than I realised because I didn’t think to look it up! Some suggested improvements: - The multi-select option could also be available under Cashflow when I click on a category (e.g., Transfer In) - When I select a transaction and then exit it again, the “transactions” page seems to refresh and I lose my place. For example, if I scrolled down to April 2025 and selected a transaction to recategorise it, when I exit the transaction I am taken back up to February 2026. It is a relatively minor issue but it would be really nice if when I exited I kept my place on the Transactions page. ### 4/5 — Linking issues *2026-02-03, version 3.34.0* App is good in general but linking issues are annoying. I cannot link my Selfwealth account anymore because 2FA sends a code to my email but there is no way to enter it on Frollo. ### 3/5 — Has potential, but mislabeled too many transactions *2026-01-26, version 3.34.0* This app has great potential but the biggest problem I have is that it obviously uses hard coded keywords to categorise transactions with very poor "matching" logic. I have a Virgin Go account and every internal btransaction to and from that account is incorrectly flagged as a Latitude Go MasterCard payment (likely due to the word Go in the account name!)! With no option to bulk correct this I'd have to manually alter hundreds of transactions to fix. ### 3/5 — Slow and makes mistakes *2026-01-17, version 3.34.0* This app is a great idea, and if it worked as it should it would be great. For me it has copied some transactions twice, leaving me a double net worth. It is very slow at processing transactions and does not classify them accurately, even after editing them. I have labelled accounts to be excluded from budgeting, but they are still included. I can see all of my transactions, which is great, but I can’t draw any conclusions from it all as it’s all a mess due to the inaccuracies. It requires some discipline to check your transactions, but otherwise provides great insight into your spending and where you can save. Really been impressed with its ongoing development and upgrades too. Good work. ### 5/5 — Amazing helper *2025-12-13, version 3.33.0* Frolo is just an amazing app. It's so easy to link your Australian bank accounts, including PayPal and Superannuations. Have a central view, let Frolo auto-categorise all the transactions. There's very few which you have to override and let Frolo create statistics for you so it's very easy for you to see where you spend most of your money. It also gives you upcoming potential bill payments based on the past. This app is so helpful. Can’t recommend it more. Customer support no help. ### 1/5 — SCAM FRAUD SCAM *2026-05-19, version 3.37.0* !!! DO NOT USE !!! The week I downloaded and gave access to my account, my card was frauded. This was my first and only credit card I’ve had for over seven years, and never have I had any theft or fraud. This app and company is definitely not good for your financial security. !!! DO NOT USE !!! ### 1/5 — Rubbish at data sharing *2026-01-25, version 3.34.0* Have been trying to renew data sharing but just get blank screens. Gave up. Tried to send a help request but stuck on one entry box and won’t let me send. Guessing their backend setup is so poor it’s hit-and-miss. Unfortunately the linking process to my bank accounts was a clunky experience that resulted in nothing linked. Off to try a paid app. I guess you get what you pay for ### 1/5 — Not accurate *2025-11-20, version 3.33.0* As other users have experienced, this app just misses large numbers of transactions. In my case I had given permission to track credit card use and could see all the transactions but Frollo was not counting any of them as an expense providing a totally inaccurate net and expense position. ### 1/5 — Could not register *2025-11-18, version 3.33.0* Tried to join, got stuck in an endless login loop - tried everything (google/fb/apple and email) ### 1/5 — Too many transactions missing *2025-10-17, version 3.32.0* It’s hard to get an accurate understanding of your own financial position if not all transactions are appearing. Too many major transactions were missing from both money in and out. Helpdesk support was unable to resolve the issue and didn’t even bother getting back to me after 2 tries. Yes it is possible to reset connections but then al the customisation is lost. Was a colossal waste of time. ### 1/5 — Time consuming *2025-09-23, version 3.32.0* I have had consistent trouble linking all of my accounts, the support team have been completely useless and slow. But more so the allocations of each transaction into categories is always wrong and never consistent and when you say to change all future transactions to that category it never does so each payment that you make pretty much has to be manually allocated to the right category which is so time consuming and never quite accurate. ### 1/5 — Fine but no app support *2025-09-04, version 3.31.0* The app seems fine, but when I go to populate an investment value the app only allows one digit of a number.
