This app has an extensive review process, which makes me feel confident in myself, coworkers and the awesome jobs. I know that I’m working alongside folks that have passed the same qualifications! The company is pretty easy to get in touch with and make everything easy- Picking up shifts, staying up to date, knowing everything necessary going in. Even being able to review my shift makes me feel at ease. This app even lets you clock in like other jobs! The way the industry is evolving, I don’t think I’ll ever go back to the old way! Cheers! 🤗 ### 1/5 — Always Glitching! *2024-12-03, version 1.0* This app works less than 50% of the time. I’d get notifications about shift and then I got to open the app and it loads for hours. Also the customer service chat doesn’t work. I’ve never had anyone respond to any of my concerns or issues via chat. BRING BACK THE WEBSITE! ### 1/5 — Freeze and Malfunction *2024-11-14, version 1.0* I’ve signed up on the app a Month ago it to them 3 weeks for them to approve my account now am stuck on Onboarding steps it’s asking for my payment information to finish up the process but it won’t pull up the field!! To fill up it keeps on freezing and redirecting. They don’t have no helpline for you to contact them about the issue. For me for the start it Poor.. hopefully they change it. ### 1/5 — Not sure how to progress *2024-07-06, version 1.0* My mom told me about this staffing agency when I went back home for a couple weeks in hopes of being able to pick up a quick shift. I went online and looked up how to sign up, or directed me to a barcode that allows you to download the app. Theres an 8 step verification process which isn’t bad at all, after completing the first step the app froze on me and wouldn’t allow me to continue the signup process. I’ve deleted and redownloaded, closed the app, I’ve even reset my phone. The design on the app was poorly made because it does not allow for you to request help or talk to any kind of support. I literally have not been able to finish this verification process and it’s been 3 months. The app looks promising but the functionality is not there ### 3/5 — Glitch *2024-10-06, version 1.0* Every time I scroll down it glitches and screen goes blank. Really need this fixed ### 5/5 — Good extra money *2025-09-17, version 2.2.0* When I first started on this app it was a lot of bugs and hard to get shifts. However they have overcome those and the app is better! There are peak and valley months as of any job that deals with events but once you get in it easy. The same day pay was a perk that made me prefer this app however lately it’s taken sometimes more than 24 hours to get paid for some shifts. So if they can get that fixed, they will be on top of there game! ### 5/5 — Working On the App *2025-04-24* This is the first app where I was able to contact someone about an issue I was having and get a immediate response. Not only was my problem resolved quickly but kindly. I don’t know about y’all, but it’s hard to find apps that actually treat you like more than a body showing up at a job. a worker. I actually got a chance to meet the CEO STAR & no lie She really lives up to her name. She is bright and bubbly, and just a sweet as she can be. Not only was she concerned about the client, happiness but she was concerned if we was having enjoyable work shift. I thought I was on a simulation. 😂 I was scheduled to work one day, but I was able to pick up two extra days and worked the entire weekend. I really felt blessed I was just telling a friend that I wish I had enough money to take a vacation after this weekend I was able to be bought & booked. The developers clearly listened to us about the bugs and fixed EVERYTHING. The app no longer freezes and all the functions are not only blazing fast now, but the overall setup is more clear and more intuitive than it was before. I have used just about all the other f&b apps to pick up gigs (instawork, gigpro, tend, qwick, etc), but what sets FrontHouz above the others for me is the on-call option, which is like a waitlist for events that are currently full. The competition for shifts is frustratingly fierce no matter what app you use, and I like knowing with FH there is still hope to make money if another worker cancels as opposed to just being out of luck with no options. The regular open shifts are easy to pick up too (you just have to have notifications enabled so you can get them before everyone else) and Fronthouz pays a little more than the other apps. Lastly, even when the app used to be buggy, the support staff was (and still is) top notch. I would message them for help and a real person would respond like RIGHT AWAY and would do stuff like clock in/out for me if I was having issues and they are always so nice which is such a plus bc there are enough unpleasant ppl in this industry. Summary: App fixed! Staff is super helpful and I'm making money with fewer headaches than the other apps.
