Took a picture of a 3 month old calf, ai says it weighs 1142lbs!  Did it twice and got simulate results. It would be great app if it worked.

I tested this app by taking multiple photos of the same cow within a 15-minute window and got noticeably different weight estimates each time. It seems the results rely more on the animal’s breed, sex, and date of birth than on actual measurements from the photo. If you’re hoping to use this app to calculate accurate weights for medications or dosing, beware — the numbers can be far off.

**Developer response:** Thank you for putting the AI to the test! It really helps the AI learn how to give better estimates in  environments it’s never seen before. If you save your estimated weights, we can use them to spot edge cases and help teach the AI to handle those exceptions better. 

The AI isn’t perfect, and today, we do not recommend  it for critical dosing or medication decisions. But with your help—and with the support from the broader cattle industry —every correct photo gets us closer to  scale-like accuracy (at any distance).

I have tried to type my farm name and address in the registration. Won’t let me, only give me errors, no way to move forward and gives no information on what I’m doing wrong. No way to opt out.
