It’s better than the games that are made in the 2020s and I downloaded this for nostalgia. But, it does have its flaws. The main problem is the amount of cash and gold earned in D-day and P2W. With the amount of cash you earn for each level, it’ll take awhile just to one gun. And with gold, you’ll have to buy it, or watch ads all day to get the OP guns. It’s a good game, it just takes AWHILE just to get guns that are good. ### 4/5 — Why four and not five stars *2022-07-21, version 3.0.6* It’s great. But the thing I don’t like and understand, is the best items, are insanely expensive with in game currency. Also, without auto healing, you need to use med kit which are crazy useful, but also crazy expensive. But beside those complaints, it’s great. If you ever plan to update I have some suggestions! *2022-07-02, version 3.0.6* This is the best ww2 shooter game on the App Store, absolute classic, but still stands the test of time. Great graphics for mobile, great game controls, great weapons, and very nostalgic. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a ww2 game. My suggestion. -The Armor. I understand that this promotes in app purchases, but when you get past Sword Beach, damage becomes nearly impossible to avoid, meaning you need armor to live. And because of the constant damage, the armor doesn’t last long at all. If armor was like health, and regenerated after each level, that would fix this broken mechanic and greatly improve the gameplay. This is the only thing that I can think of that would make this game 5 stars instead of 4. And I understand that this game most likely won’t be updated again, but I thought I might as well put it out there just in case. Stopped playing because it gets frustrating after a while . Recently reinstalled. It’s fun again but none of the issues have been fixed : to hard to get gold without $$, inaccurate gun sites, short mission times and no updates. I’ll play for a while. Delete it. We make up roughly 29% of the population, and your game ignores our existence. The trigger needs to be on the left side so I have a chan ce to shoot . As itis, I must aim, transfer the ipad to my right hand then reach across the screen to press the trigger with my left hand and HOPE the sight nor the enemy has moved at all. Yes, I am very left handed, I admit it. It was reinforced when I had a mild stroke when I was 68. Be that as it may, every other game on mt ipad allows for various controls to be placed on either side of the screen, and their distance is adjustable as hands come in many different sizes. Not that good of a game, the aiming system is way off. When you stand to fire you have to re-aim to hit and then only one third of shots do damage. You need gold for just about everything and it’s annoying. When it said get free gold I pressed on it and it said if I watch one add I get one gold. Which in my opinion is stupid because it should be five gold not one. Second when I pressed the other option to get free gold it was even worse. Some of it said I had to take surveys and the surveys ask you private questions like where you live and where you where born. Some of it also said I had to download an app and buy something on the app to get gold. Other times I used their free offers from advertisers. I did quite a few free offers, which were not free because some money went their way for a free trial or one thing or another. One day I got stiffed after depositing $30 into a casino bank. I was supposed to get 740 or so gold for that. Never got it though I waited weeks for a response. Then suddenly the offers disappeared. Nothing. Buy the gold or don’t play. On other devices the offers remained but not on mine. Since the advertisers pay to have offers presented I thought this was a very poor means of dealing with a person who took advantage of their offers. Needless to say I stopped playing, but only because these guys stopped me from playing. I love war games and this one is just right. BUT some features are off, for example buying armor supplies and anti-tank ammo like granade and bazzokas becuase those items can only be purchased with gold and since collecting gold is difficult because they are only achieved by either getting a level raise or reaching certain star collecting and thats sometimes hard even impossible to do since some mission require granade or 2 or more bazookas. So in the future I suggest challenges to be added for example getting 10 head shots gives you 5 golds or 1 bazooka, and the challenges can be weekly.
