The last 3 in under a minute. Absolutely trash. Wait since I type in under a minute I got two more. I take it back now keep up the good work! Wait one more this is so helpful :) ### 1/5 — Idiots *2025-06-17, version 3.12.0* Can’;t even accept a phone number ### 1/5 — Never accurate *2025-05-19, version 3.11.0* This app used to be my favorite but it’s never accurate anymore. I will get a notification that there’s a fire in my area and it’s actually been out for several days, or no notification at all. Even after updating the app, still not accurate. ### 1/5 — Needs major improving to click bait aspect *2025-04-24, version 3.11.0* My notifications are filled with “There is a new update to Oak. Click here to learn more!” Absolutely no preview to the severity of the update, basically just a bunch of click bait at this point. The other fire apps do give you a minor headline of the severity of each of their notifications. ### 1/5 — Multiple False Alarms (for old fire locations) *2025-01-31, version 3.10.5* I have now received 3 ‘Urgent’ notices of a fire within 1~6 miles of me! The problem is, all three of these fires occurred many months ago! I know exactly where those fires were, and there is no smoke, no fire resources deployed, and no, well…nothing? Something (’IRWIN, WildCad’?), is updating old fire locations, generating an urgent alert of an ACTIVE FIRE, but only providing original fire date and location, with all other info unchanged from original fire’s date?? (i.e. ~07/2024). I am stressed out enough by real threats, ambiguous false alarms are certainly NOT welcome :( ### 1/5 — Useless if fires are near *2025-01-22, version 3.10.4* If fires are within 7 miles The map is just a huge red blob. You can’t see individual fires the fire perimeter, or evacuation info. Any fire within 7 miles makes this app completely useless. Watch Duty, Genesys, or whatever your local fire authority recommends are all better options. ### 1/5 — Frozen - Never Works *2025-01-15, version 3.10.3* The AP opens and your stuck on the first page. Cannot look at the map. There’s not enough information. This is useless. ### 1/5 — App looks cool, it’s NOT *2025-01-15, version 3.10.3* This app is always frozen for me. After my initial set up where I input my address and alert settings, I have been unable to do anything else with the app. Whenever I open it, I get to the main screen, but am unable to open any notifications or do anything at all. There’s no means for me to report issues or get help USELESS interface ### 1/5 — Useless *2025-01-14, version 3.10.3* Can’t make a new account. Im clicking submit which is available and nothing happens. What a waste of time ### 1/5 — Worse than useless *2025-01-13, version 3.10.3* I had to evacuate twice during the Palisades fire. Multiple days of interrupted sleep and very little eating, due to all the stress. This app not only didn’t help keep me up to date on the wildfire, it pinged me with an “urgent” update to the fire at 5am on one of the first nights I was able to get a full nights sleep. The “urgent” alert? The fire is now at 14% containment. It also sent this half an hour after Watch Duty updated with the same information. Save yourself the trouble and just get Watch Duty. It’s a far superior app ### 2/5 — Fix the bugs! *2025-01-13, version 3.10.3* Every time I open the app, nothing responds to my touch. I have to close and reopen several times. Not good. Please fix! ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Now “Predicting” Fires?! *2026-07-06, version 3.13.8* I’ve been using Frontline Wildfire Tracker for about 3 years and I’ve noticed the poor updates, time not appearing accurate, and other issues, but today was the final straw! There is an active fire with smoke floating over my house and some ash falling, from a fire 10 miles away. But Frontline says the fire was discovered at 9:00 PM tonight, 5 hours from now, and the latest update was 9:30 PM, 5.5 hours from now. It also says the amount of area burned is 0.10 Acres, but the about 20 square miles of area covered by smoke says a different story. I downloaded a new app and immediately found out the fire is over 150 acres and growing. I just deleted Frontline Wildfire Tracker, total junk. ### 1/5 — Unusable *2026-06-30, version 3.13.8* The tab that says Get Started is not visible on the screen and when I try to pull it up, I still can’t click on it. ### 1/5 — App sucks *2026-06-26, version 3.13.8* Can’t open it! ### 1/5 — Doesn’t track anything. *2026-05-15, version 3.13.8* This app does not track any fires. There is no boundary or live updates as they promise. They don’t tell you how much is contained. They don’t remove fires that have been put out. They can’t even keep track of one single fire, and the app is very glitchy and buggy with words being stuck on my screen in multiple places. ### 1/5 — Straight up bad considering how important it is *2026-03-25, version 3.13.6* Nope nope nope. It reports a fire as active that was put out the same day over a week ago. Today it reports a fire that doesn’t exist anywhere within my area, but says it’s 58 miles from me. We don’t have any active wildfires today. This app must be just something they threw together along with the services they sell. I use PulsePoint and Google Maps to get up to date fire info. I deleted the app. First review: I downloaded the app to look at Colorado fires. I can’t get registered because the app doesn’t fill in the field when I type. I attempted to contact support and ended up leaving my contact info with sales. There is no Contact Us on their website. When companies do this kind of stuff, I have no need to use them for anything!! ### 1/5 — Can’t register *2026-03-15, version 3.13.5* So many steps to just look at a map?
