But naturally, the corporate suits made absolutely certain that the experience would suck. Instead of just charging a reasonable price for the game, they monetized everything so aggressively that you can now purchase INDIVIDUAL IN GAME RESOURCES. This is so unbelievably boneheaded it actually makes me angry. Imagine playing cities skylines, and you are incentivized to spend real money to buy individual roads in game. This is the level of stupid we are working with. Please don’t support this atrocity. Would rather pay one time upfront. ## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated) ### 5/5 — Request to Add Russian Language Support to Frostpunk: Beyond the Ice *2026-08-17* Dear Frostpunk: Beyond the Ice Development Team, I am a big fan of Frostpunk and was very happy to find the mobile version, Frostpunk: Beyond the Ice, on iPhone. Unfortunately, I noticed that the game currently does not support the Russian language. I would really appreciate it if you could consider adding Russian localization in a future update. There is a large Russian-speaking community of Frostpunk fans, and having Russian subtitles and interface would make the game much more accessible to these players. The story, events, laws, and descriptions are an important part of the Frostpunk experience, so understanding them fully is very important. I would personally be very happy to continue playing and recommending the game if Russian localization becomes available. Please consider adding Russian language support in a future update. I believe many Russian-speaking players would greatly appreciate it. Thank you for your work and for bringing Frostpunk to mobile devices!
