## What is Fruit Hut?

You run a fruit stand by the side of the road. Every morning you read the forecast, buy what the wholesaler is offering, set your prices, and open. Then you watch the day play out and find out whether you guessed right. Free Offline Play!

That is the whole game, and it is harder than it sounds.

BUY, PRICE, OPEN

The wholesaler shows up with a handful of lots at different sizes and prices. Some are a bargain because the fruit is already a day old. Your table only holds so much, so a cheap ninety-peach lot might not physically fit. Price too high and you close with a table full of fruit that will be worth less tomorrow. Price too low and you sell out by noon having left money on the road.

Fruit ages. A peach is perfect, then ripe, then getting soft, then past it, and nobody wants the last one at full price. Marking down aged stock moves it, but the town notices when you make a habit of it.

WHAT THE GAME TELLS YOU, AND WHAT IT DOESN'T

Anything the stand knows for certain is on screen while you decide: cost per unit, what you need to clear to break even including rent, what sold yesterday, how old each crate is. There is no calculator to open, because the numbers are already where the decision is.

Anything that is a guess about the world stays a guess. Your reputation is not a bar or a star rating and never will be. You learn how the town feels about you by how many people stop, and by what they do when they see your prices.

THE LONG GAME

Eight fruits unlock as you earn, each one a different problem. Strawberries are worth more and rot faster. Watermelons are worth a lot and eat four slots of table space. Mangoes arrive green and peak the next day, so the right move is to hold them. Dragonfruit shows up rarely and pays like it.

Bigger pitches cost money once and raise your rent forever, but a nicer stand pulls more traffic off the road. Rent comes due daily. County taxes come due once a year, and the planning screen starts warning you forty-five days out.

Around forty-five badges track the run, including the bad days. There is no game over. A run that falls apart puts you back on consignment with the wholesaler, and you climb out.

Three guided days at a friend's stand teach the loop before your own money is on the line. You can skip them.

NO ADS, NO ACCOUNTS, NO TRACKING

There is no advertising in Fruit Hut, no sign-in, and no tracking or analytics of any kind. It works with the network off. Your stand is saved in a file on your device and never leaves it.

There is one optional in-app purchase, a tip jar, tucked away on the About screen. It buys nothing in the game: no currency, no unlocks, no content, and nothing is withheld from you if you never open it. The whole game is the whole game.

Plays in portrait, one hand.

## Version history (last 3 releases)

### 1.2 — 2026-08-27

Fixed on iPhone: the fruit, weather and badge icons came out blank on device. They draw properly now.

The stand also no longer sits under the Dynamic Island or the home indicator. The day counter, your cash, the menu button and OPEN THE STAND are all clear of the edges of the screen.

New: a tip jar, tucked away on the About screen, if you ever feel like leaving one. It buys nothing in the game: no currency, no unlocks, no content, and nothing is withheld from you if you never open it.

Also fixed: the selling speed you picked, and whether the day is paused, are now marked in gold instead of three near-identical buttons. The menu button no longer hangs off the side of the screen, and confirmation prompts stay inside the frame instead of pushing their buttons out of reach.

### 1.1 — 2026-08-25

The tip jar on the About screen now works. It is entirely optional.
Also fixed: the menu button no longer hangs off the edge of the screen, and confirmation prompts stay inside the frame instead of pushing their buttons out of reach.

### 1.0 — 2026-08-21
