Desperately needs updating *2025-10-13, version 3.31.0* With competitor products adding software features regularly, Flightscope is getting left behind with this disappointing offering. It needs a big update and integration with the FS Golf app. It’s not a good look for a technology company to fail to constantly update and innovate their software ### 3/5 — Please merge with FS golf *2023-08-04, version 3.28.0* Needs to be a single app. I don’t get the accuracy that fs golf gives. When doing the skills challenges I’ll regularly get balls that will read really long. If not merge the apps, allow us to put in more info about our environment and golf balls used. ### 2/5 — It’s not you, it’s me *2022-08-09, version 3.16.5* I don’t blame the super-frustrating problems all on FS Skills and FS Golf for iOS...I blame me. I’m sure the program works great, just not for me. For me, I tend to not use the app, or my expensive monitor, because I’ve been conditioned to get frustrated even before I start trying to make it all work together. So I just avoid the frustration by doing something else. I considered purchasing the full pc version because “maybe it works better!?”, then I came to my senses and realized that if the simple iOS version is a PITA, the complicated version will send me to the looney bin. I’ll go online and dig deeper, but expect the developers to foresee the issues I run in to. ### 2/5 — No target alignment *2021-04-09, version 3.13.6* Unable to use the app since the target alignment line does not show up for me. ### 1/5 — Won’t even connect *2021-02-25, version 3.13.1* Just bought a mevo plus. iPad connects to e6 but won’t connect to FS Skills or FS golf. I scan the QR code and it still says disconnected. Try to scan the code again and it says someone is already connected but the WiFi on the mevo says it isn’t even connected to anything. Terrible. ### 1/5 — Doesn’t work *2021-02-06, version 3.10.0* Unable to select the text boxes to login. Hoping this is fixed so I can give a better review. ### 1/5 — Terrible app freezes *2020-06-26, version 3.9.3* This app is terrible. Freezes every single time, I can never get through an entire combine. Paid $10,000 for a unit and the app doesn’t even work, so disappointing. Flight scope support is not helpful at all. In fact, it’s like they don’t even care. Wish I would’ve never bought the unit and would’ve spent the few extra thousand dollars on a real company with a real apps that work. As a PGA professional I would not recommend this to anyone. ### 1/5 — Driver distance and spin rates not accurate. *2020-03-29, version 3.7.12* I am using the metal dot and driver distance and spin rates seem off by up to 25 yards and up to 1000 revs. Please fix ### 1/5 — Constantly freezes and disconnects from base unit *2018-12-09, version 3.2.0* Just got the Xi tour. From limited play, the data is good. Combine seems like it would be fun. It keeps quitting and won't stay connected to base unit. Kind of silly for a premium device. New phone, updated, updated app. $10000 Flightscope and the app freezes, every, single,time. Very disappointing. ### 1/5 — FlightScope skills app *2017-06-08, version 3.1.0* I'm sure others have success with this app, apparently not me. This app has frozen up every time I've tried to complete the combine. I've even created my own combine and the app freezes and stops working about half way through. I've downloaded this app numerous times but it just doesn't seem to work on my iPad Air, or my iPad mini 4, or my iPhone 6. Not sure why it doesn't work and FlightScope can't tell me either. Only a one star. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Useless *2026-04-16, version 3.31.0* Wouldn’t read any shots with my mevo gen2. As a dev myself I can clearly tell when an app has been neglected for a long time and this is one of them. Update it or just remove it and add the features to fs golf which I have no issues with. ### 1/5 — Buggy *2025-11-18, version 3.31.0* Very fun app but full of bugs and does not even work with my phone with most recent update. Never been able to use without issues ### 1/5 — Frozen upon opening *2025-11-17, version 3.31.0* App freezes upon opening on iPad Pro. Can’t login to FS cloud. I wouldnt connect to the app and its frustrating when I spent close to $500 on the mevo. This application is completely useless for practicing distance control which is the entire point to the app. Distances are almost always off anywhere from 20 to 70%. Maybe 5% of the time it will actually give an accurate reading and that is being generous. Please fix your app because right now it is pointless. ## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated) ### 5/5 — This will help your game improve *2022-12-30, version 3.17.2* I’m running a mevo+ in my garage this winter and setup with the short indoor mode. Everything works great. There’s an occasional misread but honestly I was expecting more. The data imo is spot on. Im a 3 hdcp and know my distances fairly well. One thing to callout is making sure you’re setting the right altitude for where you usually play. For those looking for precision in the data that will definitely be key. The skills challenges are great. To me this target style approach is more effective than just hitting on a wide open range. I do like the FS Golf app but this is a better players tool imo. Another great feature is being able to create your own challenges and being able to have shot’s selected at random. Most can dial in a yardage after 5 straight tries, but having 1 try really helps you improve. ### 5/5 — Excelent *2021-04-20, version 3.13.6* In my case the application works just fine! I love it, especially all the different views as well as all the différents pre-set skills ( I love the wedges one). It would be great if we could record our swings like FS Golf User friendly, intuitive, fast, and precise ### 5/5 — Fun, simple skill games for golfers. *2020-02-22, version 3.7.0* Read the negative reviews, but there’s no sense in being afraid to try a free app and I saw they were all old. The latest version of the app works great. Easy to use with the ability to play skill games based on difficulty, or create your own custom challenges. I have the app for iPad as well. Challenges I create show on both devices (linked to the same myFlightScope.com account), and the app works well connected to all of the FlightScope launch monitors I’ve tried. ### 5/5 — Excellent *2017-05-06, version 3.0.2* This is a must for anyone who has a flightscope. I could never spin the ball until I started using this app. It's great for all parts of your game. Magic! ### 3/5 — Time for an upgrade… *2024-03-03, version 3.28.0* Should be include in main fs app or redesigned to not look like it was from before the internet days. Great flexibility but up/ux needs to improve, should be easier (feasible) to delete sessions in the app, and the cloud app sync needs to significantly improve. This app will. E essential for the badger so functionality as the combines/ challenges are too limited on the core fs app. Merge or fix before badger ai comes out! ### 3/5 — Needs update *2023-11-28, version 3.28.0* This app looks like it is for the first version of iPhone and hasn’t been updated in a bit. I had a bit of a challenge logging into the App. They aren’t using the native keyboard and it doesn’t fit on the screen. Go to use Passwords and had to use voice to text because the keyboard cut off in half. But I did get in so now it is just a matter of playing with it. I am running on a iPhone 14 Pro Max.
