*2026-05-23, version 3.3.0*

This is seriously one pf the worst aps I have used, slow very glitchy and often just freezes.
Useless please fix

### 1/5 — Forbidden

*2026-03-30, version 3.3.0*

### 1/5 — Forbidden

*2026-03-27, version 3.3.0*

Receiving a forbidden error message when I log into the App.

### 1/5 — Buggy.

*2026-03-27, version 3.3.0*

You should be able to add an attachment to a claim you’ve already submitted rather than have to resubmit a completely new claim.

### 1/5 — Logging in has been problematic for months.

*2026-03-25, version 3.3.0*

App only lets you login on rare occasions. Frequent “forbidden” error messages for no reason. When you can log in everything is blank and non functional. Takes about 10 tries at various points in the day to access. A recent update must’ve broke this once very simple and easy application.

### 1/5 — Forbidden

*2026-03-22, version 3.3.0*

Consistently get “Forbidden” error when logging in. Useless for being able to submit mobile eimbursements. SAD!

### 1/5 — Unusable

*2026-03-21, version 3.3.0*

I simply cannot log into this app. It continues this repeated cycle of going to screen unlock and returning me to the login screen over and over again. I will have to only use the web version and will delete this functionless waste storage.

### 1/5 — ERROR MESSAGE

*2026-03-20, version 3.3.0*

After the update its giving an error message.

### 2/5 — Handy when it works

*2026-03-18, version 3.3.0*

I can’t login 90% of the time. I try to use Login.gov, the app just keeps refreshing the same screen. Eventually I just get a “forbidden” error code. I’ve deleted and reinstalled the app multiple times. The 10% of the time that it works, it’s useful.

### 1/5 — Forbidden

*2026-03-17, version 3.3.0*

Logged and I just get a pop up that says "Forbidden". So useful!

### 1/5 — Forbidden

*2026-03-12, version 3.3.0*

Forbidden error. I thought it was my VPN so I turned it off, but still forbidden.

### 1/5 — Keeps crashing

*2026-03-07, version 3.3.0*

The app crashes on me right after signing and hitting the submit button

### 1/5 — Denied

*2026-02-20, version 3.3.0*

Too difficult to submit the exact amount and services

### 1/5 — APP NOT WORKING

*2026-02-19, version 3.3.0*

The APP is not allowing me to log in and there is no tech support for assistance.

### 3/5 — Please fix this app!

*2026-02-19, version 3.3.0*

Almost every time I try to log into this app, it crashes or has a pop up that says “forbidden”. It’s no good if I can’t use it!

### 2/5 — 50/50

*2026-02-17, version 3.3.0*

This app works intermittently at best. Most times I receive a “forbidden” message. I end up using the website to avoid the hassle.

### 1/5 — Will not accept pdf or photo receipts in app.

*2026-02-17, version 3.3.0*

Please fix this

### 1/5 — Works like you’d expect

*2026-02-17, version 3.3.0*

One of the most difficult and annoying apps to use. Must have login.gov account to use. Ok I have one. Open app just go to FSA to enable login.gov. No option to do so. Endless loop. Not user friendly. But the good news is there are no other options so this won’t work for now.

### 1/5 — Garbage

*2026-02-11, version 3.3.0*

This app is garbage. Why use it when you have to log in using login.gov anyway, which doesn’t work half the time. Apps are supposed to be convenient. This is more of a pain than logging in on the computer, and it works better when you do that anyway.

### 1/5 — Doesn’t work

*2026-02-03, version 3.3.0*

This app does not work on IPhone

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Just gives us a card already

*2026-07-23, version 3.3.0*

Paying for copays/prescriptions and all other medically related expenses with money that is already taken from my check to do so would be so much easier with a card instead of the app.

### 1/5 — Service

*2026-07-03, version 3.3.0*

It is hit and miss

### 1/5 — Can not login

*2026-06-27, version 3.3.0*

App used to work great not it is completely unusable

### 1/5 — Worthless and unusable

*2026-05-16, version 3.3.0*

This app was decent before adding login.gov. Now, it’s worthless.

I can login about 20% of the time and, even when finally logged in, can only see some of my info.

Classic government “improvements”.

### 1/5 — App failure

*2026-05-11, version 3.3.0*

I uploaded all of my items and then the app failed when I tried to submit.

### 1/5 — Mediocre

*2026-05-11, version 3.3.0*

I keep my phone (newest version of the iPhone) and this app continuously updated, yet can only successfully login and submit a claim on the first try less than half the time. Login will seem successful, but then the app won’t proceed to the next screen. Or, when submitting the claim, the required list of eligible expenses that has to be chosen from won’t load, leaving you stuck unable to submit the claim. What should be a simple claim submission process is a frustrating little experience almost every single time.

### 1/5 — App

*2026-05-07, version 3.3.0*

App won't work anymore go to login and nothing just spins won't load.

### 1/5 — Submitting receipts

*2026-04-30, version 3.3.0*

After attaching five receipts the system failed.

### 1/5 — Useless App

*2026-04-08, version 3.3.0*

The app is useless. Just sends you to the web because of login.gov.

### 1/5 — Website blows

*2026-04-06, version 3.3.0*

So damn frustrated. Couldn’t get into site for 20 mins. Once I did I submitted 5 claims. Hit submit and there was an error message. None of the claims went through and all receipts deleted.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Fix go to website option

*2026-01-10, version 3.3.0*

Cannot access go to website option before to pick claims. Very inconvenient.

### 5/5 — Convenient App

*2025-12-03, version 3.3.0*

This app allows me to submit claims quickly and without much effort. I can also check the status of a claim if needed. I have never had an issue with a claim and if something is denied there’s a detailed explanation why it was denied. You also receive push notifications and emails when a claim is received, processed, and paid. Quick, simple, and effective!

### 5/5 — Seamless and convenient! Love!

*2023-03-20*

The federal government credit rarely gets credit when it’s due, so I feel compelled to share how much I love this app and the program in general. So many things are eligible (even fancy sunscreen from Sephora or anywhere! Tampons! Glasses!) and submitting claims are a breeze. Just take a picture on your phone from within the app, and fill out a tiny bit of info). If you have your FSA FEDS account connected to your health insurance plan, many of the claims are paid automatically without any work on your end (you may have to initially connect them on the full website though, not entirely sure). Well done, FSA FEDS, we’ll done!!

### 5/5 — Submitting receipts

*2021-08-12, version 1.40.3*

I have tried to submit a Multi prescription reimbursement and I’ve taken four separate pictures and try to upload seven different times and it consistently failed over the course of two weeks what a huge waste of time

### 5/5 — FSAFEDS easy/up to date - 5 star

*2020-12-08, version 1.35.0*

If you are worried about “use or lose” this app will help your anxieties, I PROMISE. Easy, accurate, and updated daily. You can keep track of everything about your reimbursements and how much money is left. In a “Dave Ramsey way” this can be a tax bracket helper, Christmas savings account or simply end of the year money present. I recommend to all FED employees.

### 5/5 — Easy and Fast

*2020-08-31, version 1.35.0*

The FSA app is so easy to use. I don’t end up with a pile of receipts to submit because it’s such a fast and simple process. There are no no forms to download and figure out. Just add or select the provider, type in the amount, take a quick photo of the receipt and submit. It’s great.

### 5/5 — Works as it should!

*2020-08-29, version 1.35.0*

The claims people who review are hit or miss, sometimes allowing things to go through without proper documentation. It would be much better to just have a debit card and let myself figure it out with the IRS. System works good though. It’s just frustrating having to pay out of pocket up front.

### 5/5 — Great app but doesn’t show all the categories of the web site

*2020-08-12*

A lot of the various categories to file claims under are not in the app. It’s strange because it is a great option to be able to scan your receipt on your phone and upload it. I am forced to start the claim on the web site, select the right category, then go to the app and upload the receipt. Please allow all the categories to show up in the app! Otherwise, it’s great!

### 5/5 — LIFE SAVER

*2020-07-29, version 1.33.1*

When I tell you FSA is a LIFE SAVER, that’s what I mean. You are seriously missing out if you don’t have it, especially if you have children. Honestly I forgot about my FSA until a co-worker asked if I had to use it yet. A light bulb clicked in my head and I’ve been submitting ever since. I Love It!!!! and will continue it over with the same amount for next year.

### 5/5 — FSA Feds makes life easy

*2020-07-19, version 1.33.1*

Since I’ve used the app, filing claims is easy! The site is quick, well-designed, and makes filing for reimbursement from out of pocket expenses a breeze. The site uses your camera to upload receipts or allows you to use an emailed receipt.
