It also has an error when exiting a session. Every time you open the app, you need to login and go through the steps of registering the launch monitor, it doesn’t remember your user name and it doesn’t let you in to see your previous sessions. A lot of room for improvement, what I do like is that once it works it works! The size of the fonts when showing the numbers on the screen can be bigger. ### 1/5 — Appalling *2026-01-03, version 2.9.4* Constantly crashes and refuses to connect to GC3. If by miracle you’re able to log in, the parameters are displayed in font size 1 so essentially you can’t read them. With every firmware update on the launch monitor and software update within the app, I am hopeful, but the same issues remain. App repeatedly freezes while launching, have to force close and try again repeatedly. Some days I am not able to use the app at all. It also has difficulty connecting to the launch monitor once it does open. Spent $8k on a device that is connected to an app that DOES NOT WORK! I’ve deleted and redownloaded the app literally every time I go to use because it’s the only way to get it not to freeze after opening. I guess trackman has its uses after seeing how bad this experience is ### 1/5 — So bad. *2025-06-10, version 2.9.3* For a company that claims to be the best in the industry, and does make the best hardware, the software is unacceptably bad. I’ve had my GC3 for 2 years now, and as bad as this app has always been, it seems to have gotten even worse over time. I have to close and restart this app 5-10 times before it will even respond in any capacity. It starts right up and is totally frozen. Once I can finally get it to not freeze, I can usually get it running fine. Just crazy how bad it is after years of issues. Seems like such a blind spot for what would be such a great system. A rating of 1.5:5 stars is comically bad, and unfortunately accurate. ### 1/5 — Easily the worst iOS App I’ve ever used *2025-06-04, version 2.9.3* I was really excited to get a GC3S and use this app out on the range, but it just absolutely does not work. I am one of the people who thinks other people who are having issues are somehow doing it wrong. I have followed the advice of others and connected the GC3 via Ethernet > usb-C which still has all sorts of problems and should not be necessary in 2026. The app freezes about 80% of the time I open it. When I can get it to connect to the GC3 it’s unstable. Completely unacceptable. The GC3 will be going back because this software is unusable on IPad which is my primary method of seeing ball flight data in the garage. ### 1/5 — Terrible App *2025-05-23, version 2.9.3* Not fit for purpose ### 1/5 — Avoid foresight at all cost *2025-05-23, version 2.9.3* I have had nothing but problems with foresight as a company. I have never come across a company that seems to dislike their customers more than foresight, dislikes theirs. All the foresight software is awful it hardly functions with out lag and fully freezing and when it does, it is still some of the worst in the industry, While also being the most expensive. The only app and website they have that functions properly is the one that allows you to buy all the stuff that doesn’t function properly. When you’re charging $500 a year for a subscription, things should work flawlessly. I used GS pro with open API for years before they bricked it, I never once had a problem. because of foresights anti-consumer policies using my golf Sim has become lead to time spent getting the thing to work than I actually get to play. ### 1/5 — App is awful *2025-05-11, version 2.9.3* Trying to use GC3 with new iPad. Horrible and frustrating. Doesn’t connect 50 percent of the time. I have issues every time I use it. LOCKS UP can’t type in user name at log-in! Even worse I complete a driving range session and can’t find it on my IPAD. When will this company provide its users with the updated software we payed a lot of money for including the EXPENSIVE launch monitor required to track my golf shot sessions at the driving range. I’m an older golfer ‘78’ and a 1 hour session at the range without securing and saving that session is BALONEY. It is the one sport I can still play and even tighten up my game to shoot my age and BUSHNELL isn’t doing us any favors. The additional software subscription required to use the their Launch Monitor an it is not functional too many times for the $500 price tag yearly! TRYING THE NEW GOLF SWING AI APPS AND SELLING THIS FORESIGHT/BUSHNELL SYSTEM. Good for using an iPad. ### 5/5 — Secret to My Success Using FSX Pro and GCQuad *2024-02-24, version 2.6.3* After having several issues getting me GCQuad to connect to FSX Pro for iPad, I have found what was wrong and hopefully it helps you as well. To ensure a stable connection, follow these steps: 1) Keep the FSX Pro app shut down (for now) 2) Turn on GCQuad 3) Via iPad settings > WiFi > Connect to your GCQuad (GCQ#####) 4) Start FSX Pro 5) From FSX Pro, touch launch monitor icon in upper left hand corner 6) Select Devices 7) Select Refresh if your device doesn’t appear 8) Select device - It will take a few moments but then show your app is connected 9) Return to main menu of app by selecting leftward facing arrow (<) in upper right hand corner You are connected and ready to use your GCQuad with your iPad and see shot tracing and all other metrics without having to lug your laptop. In my experience, the connection is completely stable. ### 5/5 — FSX Pro iPad App *2023-07-12* iPad app for FSX Pro is super solid indoors and outdoors. Many thanks to the development team for all the new features and greatly improving the stability of the app. Been enjoying the latest versions with no issues. ### 5/5 — Still works on iPhone after last update *2023-06-30, version 2.3.0* Used to be very slow to load and glitchy. After the most recent update I could not get it to work on my iPhone but I just got it to work. They changed the criteria for username without telling us so now it appears you have to use your associated full email address to login. Once I got into this new update I find it to load quickly & have had no glitches in a few long sessions. ### 5/5 — Good app thanks *2022-09-22* The app is great on ipad thank you. Maybe an update to zoom the dispertion with the ability to directly display the scatter on the schematic??? there are also sometimes some display bugs if you play clubs with too much distance difference. example iron 9 > iron 3. Would it be possible to have a dispersion value in percentage of the distance ??? 🙏🙏🙏🙏 ### 5/5 — Works well *2022-03-17, version 1.5.7.4* I prefer FSX 2020 or FSX Play on my laptop, but when I don’t feel like dealing with it this app works very well. Had no issue sending from my iPad Pro to my projector, just used a USB-C to HDMI adapter and it worked great. I do hate how the iPad formats the projected image, but that’s an Apple issue. ### 4/5 — W-T-F *2024-05-31, version 2.6.6* Updated This is such a powerful app when combined with the GC3. The data is spot on and I love the ability to create multiple profiles and create reports for sessions. This would be a fantastic app if the UI was responsive. The corner, bottom and top menu’s get cut off on iPad Air and iPhone 15 ProMax. Also, a lot of user frustration can be avoided with easy to find and clear setup instructions. All the docs I looked at still say it supports connecting via Bluetooth - which is no longer supported for the GC3 for either iPad or iPhone. I just spent about $10,000 to be told by the app YOU HAVE LISTED and says it supports the gc3 that YOU NO LONGER SUPPORT IT! ### 3/5 — Works most of the time *2024-05-05, version 2.6.5* Most of the time I don’t have an issue with this app. It picks up 99% of shots. Unfortunately, it crashes randomly, usually 1-3 times a session on my iPad (hooked up to charger, so not battery issue). I don’t save my sessions, so it’s more an inconvenience for me. But others may be very annoyed ### 3/5 — Would be great if…. *2023-05-14, version 2.3.0* After having this app for about 5 months now (give or take) I have one major issue. I cant play it on a monitor or tv via wired or wireless connection and it is very frustrating. Looking at TV or computer monitor Vs a phone or tablet screen would make a massive difference. The Mevo and skytrack have that ability and in my opinion the foresight technology is better and should be held at a higher standard. So for it to lack this capability is kinda if highly disappointing. ### 3/5 — Foresight….please take some notes from Uneekor View Air app *2023-05-11, version 1.6.0* While the FSX Pro iPad app isn’t horrible, it pails in comparison to the new Uneekor View Air app for the Eye Mini. When you spend $7500 for a LM, you’d expect more from FSX Pro in terms of user friendly navigation, fresh visuals, better graphics. The app is clunky, buggy, and looks outdated like I’m using Windows 2000.
