It just tells me it cannot connect to server. I am so excited for it. Now I can easily search for book, place things on hold, etc, right from my phone. I can also input each of my kids accounts until mine to stay on top of their checkouts. I love that I can pull up my card’s barcode at checkout so easily too! It’s also a great way to make sure I have everything that needs to go back. Having a pic of each book I need to return is super helpful. Thank you FVRL for having such a USEFUL, practical, intuitive app. ### 5/5 — Awesome! *2019-12-03, version 2019.4.5* Store my library card as a barcode for easy scan at checkout. Can search the catalog and place holds so the books I want are reserved for me at my chosen library. Can suspend holds so that the book you’ve been waiting on doesn’t come available while you’re on vacation. Can link accounts so that your kids cards are there too. Love it! One suggestion- make it easier to search for! Doesn’t come up under FVRL or ft Vancouver. Had to get the exact name from a librarian. ### 5/5 — Awesome *2019-10-25, version 2019.4.5* This app makes it easy to scan a book’s ISBN and find out if the Fort Vancouver Regional Library owns it and what branch it can be found in. Don’t want to go there? Place a hold and have it sent to the branch nearest you. Honestly, if your library’s app doesn’t do this why bother. A mobile responsive catalog does everything else you need. It will also store your card number and barcode. Easy checkout, no need to pull out your wallet and search for the right card. ### 3/5 — Used to work great. Now no longer connects. *2024-05-13* Stopped updating. Tried signing out and it says failed to connect. Removed app from phone, redownloaded & installed from App Store, immediately shows error that it can’t connect. Don’t even get prompted to login. Used to work great. Now won’t even connect to offer login page..? ### 3/5 — Never updated to keep working?!? *2023-12-07* It has worked flawlessly until the second to last or so update on iOS. It now doesn’t update your checkouts etc. I uninstalled and reinstalled hoping that would fix it but now I can’t even get it to recognize I’m connected to internet to let me log in. ### 2/5 — Not (yet) working ? *2024-08-04* In autumn 2023 there was notice of app down for improvements coming in early 2024. It’s now past mid 2024 without updates. I took the app off my phone and will wait for notice at the library website that it’s live again. Upside - I can do what I need on the website. ### 2/5 — App not working on IOS *2024-06-04* The app was working with no problems for about a year. After an update a couple months ago, it does not work at all. I’m connected to the internet but it keeps saying there is a network error and to confirm I have internet access. I kept uninstalling and reinstating the app periodically but the issue has not been fixed. Today, I find no mention of the app or it’s expected release.
