FTCLive helps FIRST Tech Challenge (FTC) teams, mentors, parents, and fans track event progression in real-time. Whether you are in the pits or in the stands, FTCLive is designed to keep your team's event day organized and stress-free.

FTCLive 1.0.9 is live! We are bringing massive updates and brand-new features to completely transform your experience in the pits:

- New Pit Map & Team Search: Meet the new "Pits" tab powered by Nexus! View the venue's pit layout, search for a team by their number or name, and instantly see their pit highlighted on the map. You can also long-press a pit code to copy the address.
- Revamped "More" Tab & Notification Filters: Announcements and Settings are now unified in one sleek hub! Filter announcements by category (Parts, General, Replay, Alliance) and independently toggle different notification types in Settings.

### 1.0.7 — 2026-06-22

FTCLive 1.0.7 is live! We've fully restored the Nexus live data stream and resolved the offline errors, bringing seamless real-time tracking back to your events:

- Live Data Restored (Invalid API Key Fix): We squashed a bug under the hood where a build configuration conflict caused the Nexus API key to load incorrectly, forcing the app into an "OFFLINE - Fallback" mode. Live queue data is now flowing smoothly once again!
- Divided Events Support: We fixed an issue where complex or divided events (especially those with sponsor prefixes) failed to match with Nexus, incorrectly throwing an "Invalid API Key" error. Now, the app smartly locks in the correct event code the exact moment you select your event, instantly connecting you to the live data stream.
- Minor Polish: For better transparency, FTCLive Version 1.0.7 is now visibly displayed on both the Settings and Welcome screens.

### 1.0.5 — 2026-05-31

FTCLive 1.0.5 is here! In this update, we've perfected data synchronization and polished the UI so you never miss a beat at your events:

- Smart Data Sync (Nexus & FTC Events): Nexus live queue data and the official FTC Events schedule now work in perfect harmony! If Nexus is lagging behind or goes offline (like during lunch breaks), FTCLive smartly falls back to the official FTC schedule to always show you the most accurate "Up Next" and "On Field" status.
- Smarter Match Flow: We've squashed frustrating bugs where already-played matches stayed in the queue, old practice matches reappeared during qualifications, or matches running late were incorrectly skipped. FTCLive now relies on real-world match progression instead of just scheduled times!
- UI Polish & Bug Fixes: We fixed an issue where the Schedule tabs overlapped with the match list, providing a much smoother scrolling experience. Played matches now display their actual start times rather than scheduled times, and score boxes only fill in when official results are posted.
- Better Readability: Long queue status texts in the Upcoming Matches screen will no longer get cut off. We've also added the app version, developer credits, and data source disclaimers directly to the Welcome (team number) screen for better transparency.

### 1.0.4 — 2026-05-27

We've made a massive under-the-hood upgrade to make FTCLive faster and more reliable! Here is what's new in version 1.0.4:

- Official FTC Events API Integration: We have transitioned away from The Orange Alliance (TOA) and fully integrated the official FIRST FTC Events API! Event lists, match schedules, rankings, and awards are now pulled directly from the official source for maximum speed and reliability.
- Effortless Setup: Say goodbye to manually searching for and entering API keys! We've embedded all necessary keys directly into the app. Now, simply enter your team number during your first launch and jump straight into the action.
- Detailed Match Results & Alliance Tab: You can now tap on any match card in the schedule to view a complete red and blue score breakdown, including autonomous and teleop points. We've also added a dedicated Alliance tab where you can easily spot team captains (marked with a star) and the winning alliance (highlighted with a gold frame and a trophy)!
- Improvements & Bug Fixes: Team avatars are now securely fetched from official FTC sources. We've squashed bugs where match times appeared blank in the schedule and resolved data loading issues caused by previous API mismatches. The overall schedule layout is now much cleaner and easier to read.
