### 4/5 — Yes a lightweight FTP client

Bit unusual as to how it works as it does not seem to show you your local files but your downloads from remote ftp site go into a cache of sorts which you can see from within the app but I can't see them (or finding them in search) from Apple Files app. 

However you can tap and select a file (big pale arrow) and then use the more normal Apple Share (box with arrow) to then email or Save to local or iCloud. 

Odd but works and maybe feels a bit more normal to apple only users rather than it does to me.

Eigentlich eine gute App! Leider werden Dateien nach einer Bearbeitung unbrauchbar. Nachdem ich eine PHP – Datei bearbeitet und wieder hochgeladen hatte, wurde auf dem Browser nichts mehr angezeigt, obwohl ich den richtigen Zeichensatz UTF-8 eingestellt hatte!

Je ne vois pas la possibilité de choisir le port à utiliser pour la connexion, ai-je raté quelque chose ?

Почему то если файл html то заменяет “ «, а если файл pho то заменяет “ на “. Соответственно скрипты перестают работать. Пробовал разные кодировки в настройках ничего не помогает. Что делать непонятно. Так бы купил, но из за этого косяка как то пока не хочется.

Ich möchte gerne von meinem Internen Speicher Daten auf ein anderes Gerät senden aber wo ist da bitte schön der Knopf zum bestätigen??? Zudem sind alle Dateien verbleicht, Ordner lassen sich öffnen. Auswählen kannste aber nix.

Der FTP Client ist wirklich super,aber mir persönlich fehlt am meisten die Deutsche Übersetzung des Tools!kann ja nicht so schwierig sein lieber Entwickler!sonst hätte ich die Pro Version sofort gekauft.Nicht das ich English garnicht verstehe!da aber meine Hauptsprache Deutsch ist, will ich auch in Deutscher Sprache Arbeiten....
Wem auch immer das kein Hinderungsgrund ist kriegt ein Hammer FTP Clienten für schlappe 5€ 😄.Lg an alle

I’m using this to edit html and php files on an ftp server. It keeps changing my double quotes to left and right quotation marks, then telling me that I’m not using the correct encoding.

Also, copying and pasting text causes a temporary change in font size and color of the whole document.

Not sure what other people are using this for, but for editing a simple text file, I’d rather just get a shell and edit using emacs or  (ugh) even vi.

Glad I tried the lite version first.

Update from developer response: This apparently has to do with  the smart punctuation feature of iOS 11 (released in September 2017). It is now April 2018, more than 6 months later, and the developers have not produced a fix for this. Instead, the workaround is to disable this helpful feature just for the privilege of using this one app.

Failed to connect with no explanation. Another app worked fine with the same credentials. Uninstalling.

The text editor for this app will convert all your quotes to smart quotes. So, don’t use it to edit any code files or it’ll hose them!

I got a developer response telling me to disable smart quotes system wide to fix the issue. That is not a solution when other FTP apps, that I now use, do not have this issue. The app shouldn’t allow smart quotes, it shouldn’t matter what my system wide settings are.

Connects ok, but when using to upload photos to an Eframe you have to browse to the folder depth one at a time, select a single photo, upload that, then browse back again, select another etc. There is no select-all anywhere. Forget it, would take years to do anything useful.

It's totally useless. Everything that you know about FTP protocol doesn't exist here, except 1 single feature. This is not a functional app, but rather a NON-FUNCTIONAL DEMO. Shame on you, the developer, for misleading and wasting our time.

All, please avoid if you want to keep your sanity. To app dev. Fix your error messages. Having only 1 connection failed error is useless. App needs a better interface to upload and download files. Give me the option again to allow access to all so I can connect to my ftp server. Had to uninstall and reinstall to get this option back. Do you even know how to program??

Ich benutze schon länger euren Client und bin sehr zufrieden, man kann jede Datei öffnen ohne zusätzliche Inhalte zu laden. Außerdem werden die Texte von '.yml' und '.html' aber auch viele weiteren Endungen farbig markiert, damit das ganze übersichtlicher wird. Man kann auch ohne Premium Rechten die von mir erwarteten Punkte erledigen nur man mUSS sich leider immer wieder neu anmelden.

Please add correct color of comment /**/ in js and other syntaxes. Cut ftp part and sell it for web dev on phone.  
Лучшее приложение эвер. Нет ограничений на скачивание изменение и переименование файлов. Платная версия добавляет функцию сохранения пути к хосту и логин с паролем. Все остальные функции работают отлично в лайт версии. Можно заниматься разработкой прямо на телефоне. Подцветка кода(по моему шаблон php). Создавать файлы как у себя так и на сервере. Прекрасное приложение выполняющее функции 2х за бесплатно. Платная часть сделана в качестве вашего пожелания задонатить за труд.  Кто пишет что можно и лучше, видимо не смотрели аналоги на iPhone за те же деньги.
