Fudget does everything I need it to do, on all of my devices. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — App completely changed now *2023-04-12* This app used to help me with all my bills. Well, not anymore. The running balance has disappeared completely which has made this app completely useless. I even emailed the guy who made the app- or at least he says he created it- and told him of all the new issues this app has now- tons of screwed up bills and his columns of numbers just moving themselves around to how IT wants it to be and not how you spent hours arranging them- I NEVER GOT ANY RESPONSE! I PAID FOR THIS APP ON EACH OF THREE PHONES JUST TO GET MESSED OVER LATER. Thank you for ruining my experience with your company! ### 1/5 — Expected a better App. *2018-06-25, version 1.7.8* Was looking for a program to track expenses and income for family usage. Went ahead and upgraded to the Premium version because the reviews said everyone loves it and it is an exceptional App. Unfortunately it’s not , may work great for one person doing budget input but for multiple users imputing you have to use drop box to transfer data and sign in each time. Doesn’t auto sync and looks like you can’t easily track ongoing expenses. Would not recommend. The reviews that are listed don’t provide an accurate description. Disappointing at best. ### 2/5 — Love it, but it’s buggy *2021-05-16, version 1.9.2* I love, love using this app. It keeps me in control of my spending easily. But it is starting to run really buggy. Some actions take a while to happen. Swiping left on an item can take many, many tries before it actually work. A few requests: Could you automate the Dropbox syncing? Allow one to set a default sorting option (I have to choose the sorting each time i enter a new entry). My only complaint is, I really wished the pro version allowed my spouse to also enjoy the app, and see live up to date transactions without having to go through Dropbox. ### 4/5 — Mostly Well Done *2020-05-02, version 1.8.6* This app is great, BUT I went to enter a .50¢ purchase I had made on my debit card, and I found you could not enter anything less than $1.00. This made my expense tracking inaccurate. ### 4/5 — Great app for tracking my money *2020-04-16, version 1.8.6* Overall a great app for tracking expenses, although it could have better user interface, such as when you change the date, it could automatically go to the chronological date order, instead of having to drag it towards where you want it to be. Also, it would be nice to be able to group certain items into categories on the chart area, so that way you can have a better overview of your expenses instead of it being so broken down. It would be great if you could also transfer data from one budget folder to another, in case you are doing a monthly expenses budget and have to always add and name the bills, the date the fall etc, it would be easier if we could just transfer that data over. ### 4/5 — Pretty good app *2019-10-18, version 1.8.6* I enjoy using this app and it’s very useful, I do wish you could budget like for the year, or do like a 5 year budget even without typing in every single date and word. ### 4/5 — Love the simplicity but... *2019-10-01, version 1.8.6* I love this app. My wife loves the app. Our only gripe is the way syncing happens with multiple users. We don’t want each other to see all of the budgets we’ve set. Other than that I feel its a big improvement on google sheets for my budgets. ## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated) ### 5/5 — Simplicity FTW! *2023-06-14* I have tried at least two other budget apps and they both gave me and my spouse headaches. They were just too complicated and involved too many steps to manually update my budget. Fudget is much simpler. My only gripes are that I wish I could mark part of a budget item as paid (like if I only spent $100 on a $400 grocery budget) and I wish there were more colours but I don’t think those are big enough complaints to warrant the loss of a star. The only downside is that my spouse has updated to the latest version of iOS and so her balance bar has disappeared. Mine is still there because I’m on a lower version and not planning on updating anytime soon because of that. We emailed them about the issue and they responded back saying that the app can’t be updated without deleting everyone’s data and that they’re working on Fudget 2. I hope that’s soon because I really like Fudget 1. ### 5/5 — SR/Fixed Income Blessing *2023-05-14* Dropbox makes it easy for my wife and me to always know what each has entered instantly so we are always on the same spending page, so to speak. Also, I keep a “protein budget” and a “hydration budget”. As a senior, I have a diminished appetite and sense of thirst. By daily “budgeting,” I am able to track my intake of both. ### 5/5 — This is the IDEAL app & system for $mgmt&budgets *2022-12-01, version 1.9.2* I have tried several, from apps to the "old fashioned" pencil to paper bookkeeping method. and there is nothing compares with how well the Fudget system works for me. It is direct, clear, non-fussy, and the placement of everything makes provides ease of use. And, it doesn't take hours to manage & everything is COMPLETE. Right there in front me -no stress and no worry that I've made mistakes.
