It shows as blue member but I am a gold member. Not good. ### 2/5 — Out Of Date *2026-06-21* This App is Out Of Date & is Way Behind the Other Fuel Finding App . ### 1/5 — Doesn’t work *2026-04-20* Just spins when I click on deals. ### 1/5 — IF NOT BROKEN, DONT FIX IT !! *2025-01-31* Terrible update! Too fiddley now. Go back to better. UNSPOTTED ISSUES ... Under Filters, why does it show two Premium fuels, but doesn’t say which is 95 and 98!? So one has to guess and choose randomly, only then to enter another screen and realise it’s the wrong fuel! Under “Preferred Suburb”, no matter which postcode or suburb inserted it always says: NO LOCATIONS FOUND, which is strange and shows something not right. Another issue on this same screen, it’s cropped on the side and bottom, so the message cannot be read and I cannot scroll up, or to the side!!??😫 So, useless at the moment. ### 1/5 — Disappointed *2025-01-20* The app has had a recent upgrade, the new layout has made the screen more congested and less easy to read, the original format was much better. Tonight the app failed to load any service stations but for the first time in weeks my screen wasn’t congested. I am an racq member, and have been since 1984, and I have been discontented with its service and prices. I have never made an insurance claim on my house, I have used the emergency service twice, and have been a rating one driver for many years, yet my premiums continue to soar, tonight I looked for a new fuel app, tomorrow new insurance, and service, either by phone or going in store, minimum wait time is over 30 minutes. racq, you disappoint ### 2/5 — Excellent App now broken *2024-09-22* This was always a really good app for QLD users. Now there are issues with it. When some postcodes are used the app confirms the suburbs and reports zero stations. After several attempts it gets it right. Even though the average price for the area region is set it reverts to a default region not applicable to your search area. Tried on ioS17 and 18 over several devices with the same result **Developer response:** Thanks for the feedback. We are committed to constantly update RACQ's Fair Fuel Finder app and provide the best experience to the users from Queensland. We will take this into account and shall soon address it. Many thanks ### 3/5 — Location services dodgy? *2024-07-11* Since the latest update the app cannot find stations near me using location services. I have to tell it the suburb. So if I am on the edge of a suburb, I have to try a few to find the best price near my location. It used to work brilliantly. I have checked the settings and my location services are definitely turned on. ### 2/5 — It’s getting worse *2024-01-20* Really starting to hate this app. So hard to navigate it. I used to see a map with all suburbs within view showing stations and their price. Now it forces me to pick a suburb and go one by one. Not helpful when your trying to find the best price on your whole route or within a range of a few suburbs. Pretty much a useless app now. ### 4/5 — Fuel type search suggestion *2023-09-11* The app is great. It could use a minimum fuel type added to the search. For example search for the best price for 95 and/ or 98. This would save doing 2 separate searches (quite often i find cheaper 98 prices than 95! ) ## Frequently asked questions about Fuel and Deals ### What is Fuel and Deals?
