I use it as a gauge and now my phone locks after a certain time. I don’t want to do it for the whole phone and just for that app. Thank you ### 3/5 — Don’t think whoever created app ever used it *2022-05-23, version 1.4* On main screen the temp jumps from F to C and there’s a dash or something under it which could be negative. But why would it be if it’s 70° F ambient temperature. On the mix screen threes no decimal for tank size. Like many have said, the slider is horrible. But the Calculator gives unreliable calculations esp when tank is low. Get a lot error messages as well. Also it would be great if it was in percentages to match the Cobb Accessport. An added bonus is having fuel temp display as well. Only complaint is that I can only enter whole numbers for my tank size. My tank is 12.4 gallons so the calculator can't be used for accurately mixing E30. ### 4/5 — Focus RS Fuel it E analyzer *2017-10-10, version 1.1* This is seriously awesome. Super way install - highly recommend. I have it 4 stars because it’s lacking item, the Ethanol mix calculator assumed your “E85” is actually 85% ethanol- this isn’t always true. My local is 70% ethanol- so I have to mix more than what the calculator says. If you added a default index, of some sort where the ethanol content could be changed - and also adjust for the fact that most pump gas 91/93 octane have up to 10% ethanol already. Otherwise - great product ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Not working *2023-05-03* It has stopped working and nothing can make it connect again… the installation was checked ### 1/5 — Version 1.5 removed an important option *2022-11-18, version 1.5* You used to be able to set the app to “allow to keep screen on” so that you could bring up the app and use it like a gauge and the screen on your phone would never turn off. This was helpful when mixing content or waiting for the fuel content to update. Now I have to keep waking up my phone screen. Very annoying. Can we have this option back please??? ### 1/5 — Sensor won’t connect app won’t connect *2022-03-12, version 1.4* Tried 3 separate fuel it sensors, lines have power we tested this. It’s almost as if the app needs a software update or something 3 separate sensors won’t connect to Bluetooth. Placing your figure on the green triangle of the slider doesn’t make it move like it should. Sometimes making the app switch screens because the triangle is too close to the edge of the screen it thinks your telling it to switch screens. If the app developers used the app one time they would know this. ### 1/5 — New app version crashes!!! *2019-12-20, version 1.2* Need a fix for this please. App crashes consistently ### 2/5 — Bluetooth connectivity needs work *2024-02-26, version 4.0.6* This app looks decent from a GUI perspective however, connecting to the bluetooth module takes several attempts to connect and sometimes even forces the app to close. Not sure if it’s a frequency issue or the app. Regardless, there are no ways to change what channel the module can be on in order to possibly fix the connectivity problem. I hope this is fixed with newer versions but until then I have to give this 2 stars ### 2/5 — Leaves much to be desired. *2022-10-16, version 1.5* The calculator when you are using blended fuel (e.g. e30, e50,etc.) isn’t super accurate. Plenty of other options online, but ideally would of been better to have and accurate calculator on this app. They also eliminated the option for the Lock Screen option while the app is open. That was convenient whenever to had to swap between regular premium (e10) and e30 blend. The price you pay for the app is just for the convenience of not having to route wires through the firewall to a gage. Hopefully they address some of these issues on a future update. ### 2/5 — Not Actual Ethanol reading *2022-09-12, version 1.5* Installed e85 flex-it kit on 2019 Mustang GT. I live in FL and test the e85 content of fuel at the pump using e85 test tube. I consistently get e85-e87 content reading from test tube. The flex-it kit is reading e75 - e77 from app. If the sensor is not reading actual ethanol content, what calculation is being used and is there a conversion? Test tube does not lie. ### 3/5 — Glitches *2023-07-11, version 1.5* I’m pretty familiar with what my car needs when it’s low, it’s almost always the same amount of e85 and 93 to get a full tank. You need this! *2018-06-14, version 1.1.1* Installed the Fuel-It port injection (pi) system on my 135i with the Bluetooth ethanol analyzer. The system feeds my JB4 directly the E content; but, this app gives you fuel temp and it has a tool to tell you how many gallons of e85 and premium to add to reach your desired E level. It connects flawlessly immediately (easiest Bluetooth app I’ve ever used). Also, it allows you to validate that your JB4 is connected correctly to the pi controller (your JB4 e85 reading should match the Fuel-it app). Love it. ### 5/5 — Well worth the price! *2017-07-29, version 1.1* Even if you have the JB4 Mobile app for monitoring your Ethanol percentage, get this app! Especially if you're not running 100% E85. This app has a feature that helps you determine how much E85/Pump fuel to add to hit your target percentage. I used to do the math myself at the pump, but this app is SO much more convenient! Well worth the price. ### 4/5 — Decent app *2023-04-30, version 1.5* Sliders a bit difficult to get correct. Also perhaps a bug. I've gotten mix values that were way off on the calculation page. I have the sensor installed so it reads the current mix. Turns out I have to zero that slider and manually set the current mix to get the rest of the values to calculate correctly. Should be an easy fix ### 4/5 — Needs update *2021-06-29, version 1.3* Overall this is a good app and does what it’s supposed to do. It does take a minute or two of driving for reading to adjust after fueling up. The calculator needs GUI update to make the slider more user friendly.
