## What is Fuel Planner?

Fuel Planner puts professional flight departments’ tankering maths in every pilot’s pocket.
Just enter your route, fuel prices, reserve policy and (optionally) weight-penalty %, then tap Calculate. Behind the scenes a dynamic-programming engine compares unrestricted and ramp-fee-waiver–constrained strategies, optimising gallon purchases at every stop. You instantly receive:

a one-paragraph “Pilot Action Brief” telling you exactly how much to uplift at each leg, and

a detailed cost breakdown (fuel, ramp fees, weight-penalty) for audit or dispatcher review.

Trips can be saved, shared as a single file, or re-imported later. Everything stays on-device; no network connection, log-in, or subscription required. Built natively in SwiftUI, Fuel Planner works offline, respects your privacy, and calculates results in a blink even for multi-leg itineraries.
