Had issues flashing maps. Says failed all the time but will actually flash the map to your maps page. Support said there is a fix for iPhone App, but it hasn’t been released yet. Also, similar to the other reviews, it can be a pain having to restart the app while on the road just to re-establish the Bluetooth connection. I had hoped for a better user experience from a $600+ product. (July: promised update still not available in the App Store. Still won’t flash. Also there is no way to reset the average MPG to get a true reading on a ride. I recently purchased this device to flash the engine mapping of my 2016 Harley-Davidson 103 Road Glide FLT-RU. However, when I connect the FP4 device, it fails to communicate with my motorcycle's ECU, preventing me from completing the flash. I have checked several aspects, including: - The firmware update of the FP4 device. - The quality of the connectors (no bent or damaged pins). - The proper functioning of my motorcycle's ECU. - The battery charge level of the motorcycle. Despite these checks, the issue persists. I have also tried restarting both the motorcycle and the FP4 device without success. I am requesting your assistance in resolving this communication issue between the FP4and my motorcycle's ECU. If you have any solutions or suggestions, I would greatly appreciate your guidance. In case of a device defect, please let me know the steps for an exchange or repair. I hope the project manager and the entire team got fired for this scam. ### 2/5 — It’s got one huge problem imo *2024-03-23, version 2.1.7* If you’re just doing a quick intake exhaust this works well. If you have cruise control just know every time you touch your tune your CC will stop working and off to dealer to fork over $100 to have it re-enabled. Add option to enable CC when you load and easy 4 star, no cruise and bolt ons it does the job. The interface for everything else sometime works or like other state just get garbage data back. This tuner should be a 50$ tuner because it’s only good for one thing, loading the map ### 1/5 — Fuelpack 4 *2024-03-22, version 2.1.7* Realmente no vote su dinero en este dispositivo. Pretends to connect but when searching for a map, no options are available for exhaust, fuel, engine. Just states to “CHOSE”. ECU can be rad or uploaded because no “FP4” found. I had a previous FP3 and it was fantastic. I’m on the fence with what to do. It drops the link constantly while trying to do something. Even with bike on trickle charge as suggested. The support part is good, they do respond very quick and are helpful. I have a 2011 Touring, and I wish the app offered more options as I keep reading about with FP3. They need to add intakes and other options. As for the connection issues, I have tried running Auto Tune, and after a ride, it shows it recorded nothing. Ran good even before autotune. I like how it shows you RPM, throttle position, temperature and everything. I do recommend this tuner perfect for stage one set up ### 5/5 — Wakes up the bike! *2024-08-01* I have the 3” Staggered v&h slip ons along with the v02 naked v&h air intake and boy this really woke up my Harley with the default map on my 107 M8 - what a difference, bike runs amazingly well, was considering a cam soon but will now delay as it’s a a hammer now! I didn’t expect it to be this good, had a pv and airbox mod with Hassan 2-1 exhaust on my vrod and it didn’t make as much of a difference as this setup. I haven’t tried and don’t plan on doing the auto tune with my stock narrow band sensors. The FP4 completed my full stage one on my 2008 FXDLI and it is better in every way than factory. It is only for stage one tuning. ### 5/5 — Works great *2023-04-12, version 2.0.7* I have a 2022 Harley Softail and I installed a new V&H exhaust system and air cleaner, I used the FP4 from my iPhone (April 2023). The FP4 needed a software update which it did automatically and took about 10 minutes. After that, the tune loaded properly and the bike runs (and sounds) great. No complaints at all. I suspect that software updates have addressed any previous issues people were having with the app. ### 5/5 — I can feel the difference. *2022-09-15, version 1.2.8* Since I’m only going as far as stage one on my 2022 Road Glide Limited this tuner is perfect. I haven’t found a bug in the app yet for IOS and everything is smooth sailing for set up. I called V&H BEFORE installing the FP4 to my bike and they had some very helpful tips to avoid any complications. No issues with FP4 or app. *2024-04-10, version 2.1.7* I’m writing a review because some of this other reviews terrified me…LOL. The app works fine. The only option you get to choose for your map is the exhaust (cause all maps are designed around a “high flow” intake. There are plenty of manufacturers to choose from besides V&H. I had no issues with downloads/uploads, my cruise control still works fine (saw that in another review), and the ability to clear ECU codes is nice. The FP4 is a neutered FP3. No app will make the FP4 better. With that said, the V&H time really smoothed out the bike. I hated the stock throttle. That’s why I bought the FP4. It’s much better now. ### 4/5 — So far so good *2023-10-24, version 2.1.5* I’ve had the FP4 on my RGS for about 6months now with no issue, I always updated and flashed on wifi but have done a firmware update on cellular once and had no issue. I’ve even used the optimize settings to adjust throttle response and idle RPM. Ive done the stage 2 torque upgrade and had no issue with the FP4. I’ve called support and they were helpful and knowledgeable. My only complaint would be the lack of options, I have Tab Performane 2n2 with V&H Hi Output slip ons and my only option is V&H Hi Output slip ons with V&H Dresser Duels. They only have stock HD and V&H options. Runs good with the tune. ### 4/5 — FP4 *2023-04-28, version 2.0.8* I bought this and had to send it in to V&H along with my ECM. They found nothing. It ended up being a conflict with the Maestro RR that was installed with my aftermarket head unit. I could not do auto tune without removing the fuse for my radio.
