## Newest reviews (2 of 21)

### 2/5 — Very annoying

*2021-05-03, version 0.0.27*

Way too many ads making it near impossible to find a fuel price quickly..

### 2/5 — Ads are really annoying

*2021-04-23, version 0.0.27*

Constantly takes over the screen with ad for some game. Too annoying to keep using.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Not working

*2026-04-08, version 1.0.56*

App is not working at all

### 1/5 — Intrusive ads lock up the UI

*2026-03-26, version 1.0.55*

Intrusive advertisements lock up the app with no way to cancel them. You have to force close the app and reopen it. Very greedy.

### 1/5 — Feedback

*2026-02-09, version 1.0.54*

Some immediate criticism after trying the app:
- During the onboarding, the user is asked their preference for the start page (dashboard or map)—for an app that they have never used before (that’s why it’s called onboarding)! That doesn’t make sense. You’re asking me about something I haven’t seen yet.
- Default appearance is light, not system, which is an unusual default for apps.
- When you zoom out, the bubble for the price is partially covered by an even smaller red bubble for no. of stations. The small bubble covers the part of price so that you can’t read it. It doesn’t matter that it’s the last digit: Not being able to see the full price is confusing and terrible UI. The text inside the red bubble isn’t correctly aligned either.
- The fact that petrol stations are grouped together when you zoom out can be very confusing, especially in the route planner. (The route planner is a great idea, of course.) It makes me think that petrol stations are somewhere where they aren’t.
- The app doesn’t highlight the very cheapest station among the cheaper ones.
- Contrary to what the developers claim in a response to another negative review, the app still does *not* remember the fuel type you select in the map view.

There are many more UI crimes. Whoever designs this doesn’t know much about interface design and doesn’t follow any of the design guidelines published for free by Apple. It’s sad to see something that could be great but is so badly implemented.

And this is only what I saw after trying to use this app for a few minutes. I think this is an instance of where the people designing and programming the app don’t ever use the app by themselves.

### 1/5 — Annoying

*2023-08-27, version 1.0.36*

Couldn’t even get it to work on my iPhone. No problem with other fuel apps.

### 1/5 — Limited - needs work

*2022-04-27, version 0.0.28*

I downloaded this App to the iPad and paid for the upgrade to +. This worked to remove ads on the iPad but not when I downloaded to the iPhone. And also not when I deleted the App (because I could find no way to remove a discount card I had added) on the iPad and redownloaded.

It doesn’t work for all of Australia. It doesn’t remember your preferred fuel.

I sent an email to the developers support address, it bounced.

I am not happy.

### 1/5 — Not in Victoria???

*2021-07-31, version 0.0.28*

I try to find a petrol station in Melbourne
Victoria but there is nothing there…..

### 1/5 — Not available in Melbourne

*2020-12-05, version 0.0.21*

No petrol stations are found in Melbourne!

### 2/5 — Recent Update??

*2025-12-28, version 1.0.54*

What’s up with your latest update? I cannot scroll or check fuel prices at my favourite stations? PLEASE FIX ASAP!!!!!!

### 2/5 — Fake email address

*2023-03-26, version 0.0.28*

The app is as good as far as it goes but forget it if you have questions or a problem regarding payment - the email address provided as “support” repeatedly bounces.

### 2/5 — Annoying

*2022-05-11, version 0.0.28*

You have to go into filters each time to reset fuel type.

## Most praised reviews (9 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Very helpful guide

*2025-11-26, version 1.0.52*

Excellent and works well across Australia with great accuracy and updates. Grateful for the savings I’ve been able to make thanks to this app.

### 5/5 — Fuel saver

*2024-06-13, version 1.0.43*

With rising cost, this apps really help to find premium fuel with lowest price in the market.

### 5/5 — Fuel costs

*2021-07-02, version 0.0.28*

This app saves us a fortune!

### 4/5 — Keep losing fuel type

*2023-03-10, version 0.0.28*

Good app, but every time I open the app. I have to go and update my fuel type. A pain.

### 4/5 — Fuel

*2022-07-27, version 0.0.28*

Very informative

### 4/5 — Good overall

*2021-08-14, version 0.0.28*

I have used this app for a while and usually it’s pretty accurate however I drove 12 km to get cheaper fuel from a Woolworths Service Station which turned out to be closed with no prices displayed of course do where they got their prices from I have no idea🤷🏼‍♀️!!
Having said that this is still one of the most useful fuel apps around.

### 4/5 — Fuel

*2020-12-12, version 0.0.25*

So far so good

### 3/5 — Freezing

*2026-05-02, version 1.0.57*

Good app but freezes a bit a needs to be restarted. Love the trip section so you can see where stations are. Trying to cross the Nullarbor

### 3/5 — Post code

*2021-05-19, version 0.0.28*

There should be a place to put a post code so that it will give you a station near you
