## What is Fuji?

Fuji-Fi is a third-party camera companion app designed specifically for Wi-Fi enabled Fujifilm cameras. It offers a simple and convenient way to wirelessly transfer images from your Fujifilm camera directly to your mobile device.

WIRELESS TRANSFER

Pair your camera once and connect to it again for image transfer with just a single tap. When connected pick photos and videos you want to download, tap Import and watch them appear directly in your Camera Roll. We built a networking engine from scratch specifically for Fujifilm cameras to get the maximum out your camera when it comes to Wi-Fi speeds. Fuji-Fi aims to offer the fastest and smoothest native Fujifilm wireless transfer experience yet.

PC AUTO SAVE

For more advanced users Fuji-Fi finally brings PC Auto Save functionality to mobile (originally designed for desktop devices). This lets you use an external Wi-Fi or your Personal Hotspot to push photos and videos from your Fujifilm camera directly to your mobile device and enables wireless RAF transfer.

Pair your camera once via PC Auto Save settings and then initiate the transfer directly from your camera. Make sure your camera can connect to either the same Wi-Fi network or to your Personal Hotspot. Once connected the transfer will start automatically based on your app's PC Auto Save settings.

### 4/5 — PC Autosave implemented on iOS

*2024-04-18*

After terribly unreliable fiddling with the camera remote way of importing photos (tried with official app, and Cascable) from my X-T100, finally found that PC Autosave over my WiFi router works more reliably and is easier to trigger too. Now I’ve found this app that seems to have reverse engineered the protocol, letting me reliably sync to my phone over router or my hotspot! Never going to try to connect to the camera’s WiFi ever again. A few notes:

1. App forces you to give access to *all* my photos and your precise location. The album management feature should be optional, I don’t see why the app can’t simply add photos to camera roll and keep track of the history. Also, I should get the option to only use the PC Autosave, which should only need permission to see devices on my network - it shouldn’t need any more network information beyond, so I should be able to skip the location permission when using that. Privacy policy claims to not collect any data, but I don’t know how to audit that.

2. Default video instruction shows how to try the regular connection via camera WiFi. Skip it. There should be a link on that page for PC Autosync, follow that, that’s the real use of this app. Developer should highlight that first imo.

3. Noticeably slower transfer speed than to my Mac. Same camera, same router, same distance, but the official software goes by about 10x faster. But honestly, I’ll take it, it’s no slower than the camera remote app and it’s way less finicky. It does stop mid-sync if the phone locks / display turns off - I’m not sure if there’s a way to get such a sync allowed as background activity.

4. Developer seems to have figured out how to limit the transfer to “last week”, “last day”, etc. instead of all or nothing like the official software, which is awesome! Maybe this trick can be used to select specific ones (e.g. provide range or list of file numbers to transfer).

### 3/5 — Generally good

*2021-02-13, version 1.2.5*

But would benefit from allowing bulk selection of photos (e.g. select and drag, etc)

### 1/5 — 5 stars if it would work

*2021-02-11*

I’ve used many wireless remotes pairing cameras from manufacturers Canon, Nikon, Sony and Fuji to Laptops, Cellphones, IPads over the years but have encountered a issue transferring. .raf files using Fujifilm remote so when I seen Fuji-Fi I thought it would work but it doesn’t! I started wireless communication in camera and launched the app selecting the Fuji connection in wifi then confirmed the connection no images showed and I launched and retried for well over a hour images won’t appear in the Fuji-Fi app to select. So I’m really disappointed paying for a app, spending so much time and it not working. I’d happily pay more and give a 5 star review if I could transfer my .raf files from my Fujifilm XT2. UPDATE....
After removing the sd card from my second camera slot and resetting my camera in settings a image showed but just .jpg :(. I set my camera to only record in .raf on the first and only sd card and the Fuji Fi app settings to only import .raf it doesn’t show even one of the .raf images on my card even after a very long wait. Refund or fix please

### 1/5 — **WARNING** This app doesn’t work

*2020-10-31, version 1.2.4*

I got this hoping it would work. It doesn’t. Camera and phone unable to connect. It Is as equally useless as the Fuji app. It amazes me that in 2020 something as simple as transferring photos from one device to another could be such a struggle. Fuji seem to make it ridiculously complicated and this app does nothing to elucidate that.

### 1/5 — Don’t buy

*2020-06-22*

App doesn’t work. Loose connection or freezes the camera. Pretty much worthless

### 1/5 — Use App by developer

*2020-05-23*

This was a waste of my money, so I decided to support this app but it kept crashing every time I tried to use it with WiFi,

### 1/5 — Need refund, please

*2020-05-17*

Can’t pair app to Fuji XP130. Please refund my money. iOS 13.4.1

### 4/5 — It works!

*2019-12-24, version 1.2.1*

I bought it as I thought it could import Fuji Raw files as inferred by the import file type menu. The app doesn’t import them as the iPhone cannot read them. It will of course import jpegs all day.

### 1/5 — App doesn’t work - turns off my camera

*2019-12-01*

Attempting to pair, the app turns off my camera. Have retried multiple times. A waste of $3. Will contact my Credit Card company to cancel payment. Waste of time and money unfortunately.

### 1/5 — Almost Works

*2019-11-30*

Fugifilm product never worked.

Tried this and camera said “connecting”. Then after a few seconds camera goes off

iPhone never recognizes camera. Can I get a refund or better yet a fix?
