### 1/5 — Waste of time and money

*2019-09-17, version 1.1.3*

Every time I have wanted to sync my Fujifilm camera in 4 years of ownership (generally holidays so once or twice a year) I have had to re-load the app and it has always been hit and miss.

Now the app is chargeable you would expect all the bugs to be eliminated and to work seamlessly. Not so. Still useless.

Wish I’d not bothered.

### 1/5 — Buy a bag of chips instead

*2019-04-14*

App won't open up and keeps crashing for the last hour. Wasted a perfect 3 bucks. Cool.

**Developer response:** Hey, sorry about that. Can you send an email to fujifi@protomatis.com with what kind of device and iOS version you’re using? We’ll get this fixed ASAP.

### 1/5 — 5 stars if it would work

*2021-02-11*

I’ve used many wireless remotes pairing cameras from manufacturers Canon, Nikon, Sony and Fuji to Laptops, Cellphones, IPads over the years but have encountered a issue transferring. .raf files using Fujifilm remote so when I seen Fuji-Fi I thought it would work but it doesn’t! I started wireless communication in camera and launched the app selecting the Fuji connection in wifi then confirmed the connection no images showed and I launched and retried for well over a hour images won’t appear in the Fuji-Fi app to select. So I’m really disappointed paying for a app, spending so much time and it not working. I’d happily pay more and give a 5 star review if I could transfer my .raf files from my Fujifilm XT2. UPDATE....
After removing the sd card from my second camera slot and resetting my camera in settings a image showed but just .jpg :(. I set my camera to only record in .raf on the first and only sd card and the Fuji Fi app settings to only import .raf it doesn’t show even one of the .raf images on my card even after a very long wait. Refund or fix please

### 1/5 — **WARNING** This app doesn’t work

*2020-10-31, version 1.2.4*

I got this hoping it would work. It doesn’t. Camera and phone unable to connect. It Is as equally useless as the Fuji app. It amazes me that in 2020 something as simple as transferring photos from one device to another could be such a struggle. Fuji seem to make it ridiculously complicated and this app does nothing to elucidate that.

### 1/5 — Don’t buy

*2020-06-22*

App doesn’t work. Loose connection or freezes the camera. Pretty much worthless

### 1/5 — Use App by developer

*2020-05-23*

This was a waste of my money, so I decided to support this app but it kept crashing every time I tried to use it with WiFi,

### 1/5 — Need refund, please

*2020-05-17*

Can’t pair app to Fuji XP130. Please refund my money. iOS 13.4.1

### 1/5 — App doesn’t work - turns off my camera

*2019-12-01*

Attempting to pair, the app turns off my camera. Have retried multiple times. A waste of $3. Will contact my Credit Card company to cancel payment. Waste of time and money unfortunately.

### 1/5 — Almost Works

*2019-11-30*

### 1/5 — Not working at all!!

*2019-11-24*

This doesn’t work and three dollars is a pretty hefty price to pay in comparison to what other apps cost.

### 1/5 — App not working

*2019-11-23*

Paid $3 bucks for an app that doesn’t even work! Hope I could get a refund -_-. Everytime I try to connect my iphone to the camera it just says “connection lost”. Downloaded this app coz the official Fuji app is a pain to use and I was hoping that this would be better. Guess this is worst since the app isn’t free.

### 1/5 — Can’t pair

*2019-11-15*

I’ve been trying and trying to pair my Xp-140 to your app to no avail.

### 5/5 — The only app you need for Fuji X cameras

*2019-11-08*

After being super excited to shoot with my brand new camera, came the crushing realization that I was unable to connect the camera to the stock Fuji app. Some quick googling brought me to the Fuji-Fi app and I have had zero issues since.

If you’re shooting Fuji and need to quickly transfer your jpg’s to your iPhone, you need this app.

### 5/5 — Works and fast

*2019-07-27*

YouTube + pair it to this app. Works and fast. Plain and simple. It work. Thank you!

### 5/5 — Fast!

*2019-03-21*

After messing with the app recommended in the manual for my X-Pro2, “Fujifilm Camera Remote,” and getting nowhere but frustrated, I decided it was worth the three bucks just to get mad at something else for a minute. The camera and my phone would connect, but the recommended app didn’t seem to be connecting to either. This should be simple, but an hour later I was still having no luck, even with the help of an IT wizard.

After downloading Fuji-fi and restarting my phone, I turned on the camera wi-fi and connected with the phone. I opened the app and literally less than three seconds later I was transferring photos to my phone. It was amazing. I also have a Sony A7iii with WiFi. That app and connection was slightly clunky to learn but functional and efficient. This was, by comparison, a pure joy. I am thankful for the developers who made this simple, smooth, and super fast. I shoot raw, so I expected the files to take a long time. I wasn’t upset when they downloaded in a snap. Great app! Thank you!

**Developer response:** Thank you for this great feedback!

Just wanted to clarify a couple of things. Your camera is usually set to transfer images resized to 3Mpix by default. Please make sure you have set the "Resize Image for Smartphone" setting in your camera to OFF if you want to transfer full-sized JPGs. Transferring RAF files is only possible using the PC Auto Save feature on your camera due to Fujifilm's imposed limitations. Please see https://fujifi.app/pcautosave/ for more details on how to use this feature.

### 4/5 — PC Autosave implemented on iOS

*2024-04-18*

After terribly unreliable fiddling with the camera remote way of importing photos (tried with official app, and Cascable) from my X-T100, finally found that PC Autosave over my WiFi router works more reliably and is easier to trigger too. Now I’ve found this app that seems to have reverse engineered the protocol, letting me reliably sync to my phone over router or my hotspot! Never going to try to connect to the camera’s WiFi ever again. A few notes:

1. App forces you to give access to *all* my photos and your precise location. The album management feature should be optional, I don’t see why the app can’t simply add photos to camera roll and keep track of the history. Also, I should get the option to only use the PC Autosave, which should only need permission to see devices on my network - it shouldn’t need any more network information beyond, so I should be able to skip the location permission when using that. Privacy policy claims to not collect any data, but I don’t know how to audit that.

2. Default video instruction shows how to try the regular connection via camera WiFi. Skip it. There should be a link on that page for PC Autosync, follow that, that’s the real use of this app. Developer should highlight that first imo.

3. Noticeably slower transfer speed than to my Mac. Same camera, same router, same distance, but the official software goes by about 10x faster. But honestly, I’ll take it, it’s no slower than the camera remote app and it’s way less finicky. It does stop mid-sync if the phone locks / display turns off - I’m not sure if there’s a way to get such a sync allowed as background activity.

4. Developer seems to have figured out how to limit the transfer to “last week”, “last day”, etc. instead of all or nothing like the official software, which is awesome! Maybe this trick can be used to select specific ones (e.g. provide range or list of file numbers to transfer).

### 4/5 — It works!

*2019-12-24, version 1.2.1*

I bought it as I thought it could import Fuji Raw files as inferred by the import file type menu. The app doesn’t import them as the iPhone cannot read them. It will of course import jpegs all day.

### 3/5 — Generally good

*2021-02-13, version 1.2.5*

But would benefit from allowing bulk selection of photos (e.g. select and drag, etc)
