You can see your uploaded video slow motion and compare it with the appropriate tennis players - with those that you like or those close to your age. The coach analysis, in my case it’s Brian Teacher, helps my serve to improve. Highly recommend. ### 5/5 — Great coaching app *2024-03-25, version 1.5.7* Well done Bryan and team at FCT, as a coach I have been taking videos on my phone for years to show students what they are doing and what they could improve. This app makes it so much easier to do this and so much more. Split screen with videos of pro players to analyse frame by frame how the major ingredients can differ from a pro to a rec player that can be used straight away. Moreover, when you have stronger rec players you can show the more nuanced technique to show what can be improved. After a recent lesson, my coach sent me a link to videos he recorded of me in the app that broke down every stroke with a side-by-side comparison to help me see specifically where I needed to make changes. It’s one thing for a coach to tell you what to do but another to SHOW you what you should be doing… especially compared to another player/pro. The videos also included his commentary which really helped me retain the learnings. App has terrific features for stroke analysis and coupled with the social connectivity of the app, it has allowed me to both share with my program members and also through social media. The app has also enabled me to far more effectively assist my players in other countries and on tour enabling a continuation of the coaching relationship and also has allowed diversified income streams. Huge thanks to Mr Brian Teacher and his team for FCT. ### 5/5 — No other tennis app like it *2023-11-13, version 1.5.6* I’ve only used a few features on FCT but have found it incredibly useful so far. The combination of being able to record, edit/splice, organize in a library, and review strokes in slo mo is really great. Then add onto that a library of strokes from pros that you can do a side by side analysis of, plus the opportunity of getting a top tier coach to do a compare/contrast between your stroke and a better one, and you’ve got one of the best and most efficient tools for technical improvement of your game. It’s ultimately up to you to translate what you learn from the analysis into your technique on the court, but you can also hire a coach for more in depth sessions (asynchronous or synchronous) and feedback for help along the way. It can be hard to find a great coach where you live that can help you improve quickly…and you might just need a few good pointers from an expert eye, in which case an hour on the FCT app can be much more effective than hours of in person lessons where you’re not getting the exact right technical instruction. It has a great library of strokes from pro players which I can easily use to compare with my players. I very much like the possibility of having a group chat on specific videos.
