### 5/5 — Great free contraction timer!

*2024-03-22, version 3.7.1*

This was easy to use and the ads are reasonable. No pop ups or annoying requests to review. I used this to help my wife and highly recommend it.

### 5/5 — Used for all 3 Labors!

*2023-08-22, version 3.7.1*

I just want to express my gratitude for this app as it has come in handy for all 3 of my recent deliveries! One in 2018, one in 2020, and one last week, 2023.

I love the simplicity of the functionality & especially the fact that it never erased my data. I was able to download a full report of all of my loggings which helped me see the historical patterns of each of my labors.

The Start/Stop button is a major player when you feel like you’re dying & can’t do much else! Lol. Which is why I rarely tracked any markers like intensity levels and so on.

Anyway, def worth it! Thanks again for this incredible idea!

### 5/5 — Such an amazing app

*2023-08-07, version 3.7.1*

I tried other contractions apps and they seemed ok, but this one is simple and straight to the point and I’m a big fan. And it defaults to dark mode too! I was keeping track by writing down times before I found this, was able to edit in all the time and it worked beautifully.
The timer itself shows the last contraction you’ve had, the average of the last hour, and the average of the last 6 hours. It even has an option to write notes if you water breaks such as amount, color, and time.
And to add the cherry on top, it even has a section for kick counter, weight tracker, and a reference section to learn more about prenatal care, labor and delivery, and postnatal care.

### 5/5 — Has “Dark Mode” setting!😍

*2023-08-02, version 3.7.1*

Very helpful. Very user friendly during labor. It’s a free app. And If you want to disable adds then it’s a one time purchase of 0.99 - which I did so that it didn’t interrupt the ease of use during the night time contractions (which gene contractions were far enough apart to get a little rest in between). Everything is calculated for you, so that you don’t have to calculate how far apart your contractions are, their duration etc. am Not All Apps Make it this Easy to Track!!!

DARK MODE Setting!!! The last thing a mamma wants is BLUE LIGHT disruptions during the night, affecting the ability to rest between contractions during early stages of active labor. This setting was what made me get the app I’m the first place, but was pleasantly surprised and impressed by everything I mentioned above. Definitely the best tracker out of the 3 that I tried/experimented with. 🙌

Thank you to whoever created this!

### 4/5 — This app really worked for us

*2023-01-09, version 3.7.1*

This review may have come a bit too late since our kids are already 5 and 3 year-olds.
The contraction timer was the most helpful feature; we could see duration, intensity, and frequency graphs.
The app mapped the numbers and the graphs were shown. It helped us decide when to call our doula.

### 5/5 — No fuss

*2023-01-02, version 3.7.1*

Simple app without pop ups asking for a subscription.

### 5/5 — Simply a really nice app

*2022-12-19, version 3.7.1*

Very simple app that works just great. Would be great to have a widget and iWatch app. It helped us a lot with our newborn, thanks a lot!

### 5/5 — Great

*2022-11-08, version 3.7.1*

Very easy to use and helped us know we were in labor

### 5/5 — Easy!

*2022-10-22, version 3.7.1*

Perfect app for timing kicks and contractions, I would definitely recommend! Easy to use, easy to read and helpful resource section on back end!

### 5/5 — Love it

*2022-09-14, version 3.7.1*

Helps me count my babies kicks❤️

### 5/5 — Everything you want/need is free

*2022-08-25, version 3.7.1*

I’ve downloaded so many contraction apps that seem free and then when you want to edit a contraction, you have to upgrade. It’s dumb. This app is so nice. Baby kicks and contraction counting is free and so easy to use. Plus it has a chart that’s fun to see!

### 5/5 — Best contraction app!! free / $1- allows edits and corrections

*2022-07-30, version 3.7.1*

The main reason I chose this app is because the other apps on the market required me to pay in order to correct and edit contractions. I do not think that feature should require a payment. I was happy to pay a dollar to support and remove the ads. Although the app is not colorful or fancy, it is very functional and shows graphs of the contractions and intensity. As a nurse/ scientist, this is important and interesting information to have.

### 5/5 — Superb

*2022-06-22, version 3.7.1*

Superb app helping moms understand their labor, both pre labor, and active labor.

The graphs make all the difference.

### 5/5 — Great for editing

*2022-03-14, version 3.7.1*

I like that I can edit the contractions.

### 5/5 — All good, some suggestions

*2022-02-13, version 3.7.1*

If possible it would be great if this app could appear as a complication. Another possible improvement might be playing relaxing sounds during a contraction. But works great!

### 5/5 — Worked great

*2022-01-31, version 3.7.1*

We used this to time my second childbirth and it was a godsend. My kid was born in roughly two hours after I started having noticeable contractions and I’m not sure I would have been able to figure out timing without this. It was easy to do in a lot of pain, too.

### 5/5 — Just what I needed

*2021-11-12, version 3.7.1*

Tracks all the info i needed to share with my birth team!
Idk how ppl can use stop watches and write them down too much work when in pain.

### 5/5 — Amazing!

*2021-11-01, version 3.7.1*

Seriously amazing. Made counting and timing contractions a breeze!

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Doesn’t work with iOS 26.1

*2025-11-11, version 3.7.1*

App hasn’t been updated in 6 years. Last update was for iOS 13. App doesn’t stay open to do any functions. Closes as soon as you hit a button.

### 1/5 — Ads remained after purchase

*2020-05-10, version 3.7.1*

Paid to upgrade and remove ads. The ads are still there...Really annoyed. I want my money back.

### 1/5 — It’s okay

*2020-01-23, version 3.7.1*

The app worked great when we needed it. We no longer need it so I deleted it, but it keeps reappearing on my phone no matter how many times I delete it.

### 1/5 — Graphs DO NOT make sense

*2019-10-23, version 3.7.1*

!!!!!

### 1/5 — Timer is faulty

*2018-03-01, version 3.5.0*

Guys as of Feb 2 2018, the timer counts faster than a clock making contraction time recordings inaccurate, defeating the purpose of using the app. After 3 hours I’ve had to discontinue use and find another one. I hope this gets fixed, it’s a decent app otherwise.

### 1/5 — Drains battery extremely fast

*2018-01-28, version 3.5.0*

I used this app for tracking contractions during labour and it drained the battery like crazy (confirmed in Battery settings) so while I like the features it’s not useful if you can’t leave your phone plugged in.

### 1/5 — Kg/lbs

*2018-01-04, version 3.5.0*

I wanted to use the weight tracker portion of this app, but it only gave me the option to track my weight in kg. I use pounds, and honestly have no idea of what my weight is in kg. I have deleted this app and have switched to another one that has both units of measure.

### 1/5 — Annoyed

*2017-01-12, version 3.4.0*

Thought this would be a useful app for when I went into labour, and it has worked fine everytime I've needed to time contractions that have ended up being nothing, but now I'm in actual labour and need to use it the app keeps crashing! Have deleted the app and downloaded it again and it still does it. Inconvenient much!

### 1/5 — Very poor at an important time

*2016-11-14, version 3.4.0*

So disappointed- I have to wonder at whether other reviews here are for real. I see a lot about none contraction timing uses, but during birth very poor. Pop up ads interfere with timing, no up to date over time so we could judge when the next was coming. Had to download a new one halfway though labour.

### 3/5 — Decent App, Needs Watch Shortfut

*2024-10-06, version 3.7.1*

I’d like to time my contractions from the home screen of my watch, or at the very least have quick access to the app from the home screen. Navigating to the app on the watch is pretty annoying, especially when you’re having a contraction and concerned about timing it accurately.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Best contraction tracker

*2026-07-26, version 3.7.1*

An amazing tool to have! Counts kicks, contractions and weight all in one

### 5/5 — Fabulous

*2025-12-11, version 3.7.1*

Perfect app

### 5/5 — so helpful

*2025-09-27, version 3.7.1*

this was the easiest and most helpful item during early -mid labor

### 5/5 — No frills- perfect!

*2025-08-23, version 3.7.1*

When I’m in labor and just need to time contractions, I don’t want frills or extra fuss of sentences of “yay you met a goal!” (Of what, having a contraction?) I have used this timer for 3/5 of my babies (and will use it again with baby #6 in a few months.) It helps me keep track, monitors time in between and length and the averages— just tap the screen to start and tap again to stop (I don’t want more than that when I’m in labor.) I usually quit once I’m in very active labor, but it helps me be able to tell hospital staff what has roughly been going on without having to remember. 10/10 recommend

### 5/5 — Helpful!

*2025-06-30, version 3.7.1*

There are lots of apps to choose from and the pregnancy tracker I had was great until I needed a contraction timer. This is great! No frills, informative ready reference and the contraction timer is exactly what I needed. Appreciate the developer’s choice to keep it free with ad-free low cost. Thanks!!

### 5/5 — Great app

*2025-04-27, version 3.7.1*

This app helped me count contractions during two labors!! Definitely recommend

### 5/5 — The best contraction timer!

*2025-03-27, version 3.7.1*

Not only does it help with keeping up with contractions, but it has a kick counter, information about weekly progress during pregnancy, dietary information and so much more. I even deleted this app back in 2018 and redownloaded it after getting pregnant again and luckily it kept all of my information from my first child. So now I have both contraction records of my children and I can add on my soon to be third. I love this app and will never delete it again.

### 5/5 — Easy to use and super helpful

*2024-10-29, version 3.7.1*

I have been using this app for the last 24 hours and I find it useful, intuitive and the data charts help me see how we are trending. Thanks for adding value!

### 5/5 — So Glade I Did

*2024-09-12, version 3.7.1*

As 1st time mom this helped me to feel confident and excited!! Not waste time questioning myself ☺️

### 5/5 — Great App!

*2024-04-01, version 3.7.1*

Has a nice iOS and Apple Watch App with all the functionality you need in exactly the right places. Appreciate the dark mode. Don’t let the more basic design and App icon fool you. This app is great.
