## What is Fun Chinese Flashcards?

A photo of a panda. The characters 熊猫 beside it. The pinyin underneath. Tap, and hear it spoken in Mandarin. Tap again if the tone didn't stick. Next card.

That's the whole app, and it's why it works: your brain files a word away much faster when it arrives attached to a picture than when it arrives attached to another word. 1,000 Mandarin words, 50 categories, no ads, no account, no internet needed. Free to try.

SIMPLIFIED OR TRADITIONAL — YOUR CHOICE
One switch changes every card in the app. Studying for the mainland? Simplified. Living in Hong Kong or Taiwan, or learning from a grandparent who writes the old forms? Traditional. Most flashcard apps make you pick a side at download; this one doesn't.

EVERY WORD, SPOKEN ALOUD
All 1,000 words come with audio in clear, standard Mandarin. Tap a card once to hear it, then as many times as you like — tones settle in through the ear, and replays are unlimited. The audio works fully offline, same as everything else.
