## What is Fun Habit?

Make daily habits feel rewarding, visible, and easier to keep.

This is a habit tracker, routine planner, and daily goal tool built around a simple reward system. It helps you turn small actions into visible progress, so every habit feels connected to a goal, a reward, and a reason to continue.

Build good habits
Create habits you want to grow, such as reading, workouts, study, drinking water, sleeping earlier, taking medication, cleaning, stretching, meditation, or any daily routine you want to keep. Each habit can have its own cycle, goal, reminder, and reward points, so your routine becomes more than a to-do list. It becomes a record of progress.

Record bad habits you want to stop
You can also record behaviors you want to quit or reduce, such as smoking, too much screen time, staying up late, snacking, impulse spending, or other routines you want to change. Set point deductions for unwanted behaviors and use clear feedback to stay aware of the choices you want to improve.

Turn progress into rewards
Completing positive habits can earn points, while unwanted behaviors can deduct points. Add a gift, trip, rest day, family activity, entertainment time, or any personal goal to your wish list. Set the points needed, then unlock the wish through daily progress. Habit tracking becomes more motivating when the reward is something you actually care about.

Use it for family points
The app can also work as a family points and reward record. Parents can create habit goals for children, give points for completed routines, deduct points for missed tasks or unwanted behaviors, and connect progress with wishes, rewards, or family agreements. A visible points system can help children understand effort, rules, and consistency in a clearer way.

Plan flexible routines
Flexible habit cycles support daily, weekly, monthly, yearly, and custom schedules. Use it for daily water goals, weekly workouts, monthly planning, long-term habit building, or quitting a bad habit at your own pace. It can work as a habit tracker, routine planner, goal tracker, daily planner, or to-do companion.

Focus with built-in timers
For timed habits, you can start a focus timer directly from the habit. Use it for reading, exercise, study, cleaning, practice, or any task that needs a measured session. There is no need to switch to another timer app just to record the time spent on a habit.

Understand progress with data
Progress is easier to keep when you can see it. Calendars, heatmaps, charts, rankings, and history help you review habit records, completion patterns, wish progress, reward points, family points, and long-term growth.

Customize habit cards
Habit cards can use flexible layouts and custom components, including descriptions, progress, heatmaps, and other details. This helps each habit fit the way you actually plan, track, and review it.

Use home screen widgets
Home screen widgets make habit recording faster. Put important habits on your phone’s home screen and mark habits done with fewer steps. This is helpful for routines you want to keep close, such as drinking water, reading, exercise, medication, or daily reflection.

Record mood notes
Habit change is not only about actions. It is also connected to mood, stress, energy, and daily rhythm. Mood notes help you remember how the day felt, not just what was completed. Over time, you can better understand why some routines work and which plans fit your life.

Keep your records safe
Local and cloud backup options help protect your habits, plans, wishes, family point records, and mood notes.

If you want a habit tracker that feels less like a chore and more like a rewarding system for personal growth, this app gives you a simple way to plan routines, record progress, earn rewards, and make your habits easier to keep.

### 1/5 — You guys really need to get it together and add more consistent updates

*2025-01-16*

I’ve been using this habit tracker app for a few months now, and while it’s been helpful for staying on track, there are some issues that really need attention to improve the overall experience. I even subscribed to the premium version, but I don’t feel like I’m getting enough value for what I paid.

One major issue is a bug where, after ending a habit, it turns completely greyed out. I can’t un-end it or delete it, which adds unnecessary clutter. This kind of issue makes the app feel frustrating to use and really needs to be fixed.

Another problem is the random non-English text that appears in the app. Since I can’t understand it, it’s confusing and takes away from the user experience. Improving accessibility and polishing the app would go a long way.

Another recurring issue is with the habit reminders. Instead of getting a single notification as intended, I often receive multiple reminders for the same habit. This feels more disruptive than helpful. I even get reminders for notifications I’ve deleted or I even see the name of the old habit if I’ve changed the name.

There are also some missing features that would make the app much more engaging. For example, streak tracking would be a fantastic motivator to stay consistent. It would also be great to see profile customization options and maybe even the ability to buy “skips” to save streaks or avoid losing coins for incomplete tasks. While we’re on the topic, showing how many coins we’ll lose for incomplete tasks (like how it shows how many we’ll earn) would add clarity. Overall, adding more features like these could really help the app stand out and keep users coming back.

Small changes like offering an AM/PM time format for users unfamiliar with the 24-hour clock could make it more accessible, especially for American users. On top of that, the UI could use some polishing to make it more intuitive and user-friendly.

I really want to keep using this app because it has so much potential, but it’s becoming harder to justify with these issues. I hope the developers continue to improve and add features in future updates to make the app as great as it could be.

**Developer response:** Hello,

Thank you for your feedback. To avoid seeing greyed-out habits that have ended, you can select "Today" or "Ongoing" in the top-right corner.

Regarding the multilingual configuration issue, could you kindly email us the specific areas where the problem occurs (feedback email: appbyteam@gmail.com)? We will review and address any missing text as soon as possible.

Thank you again for your valuable input!

### 5/5 — Great app but still could use some updates over time

*2024-12-28*

Just wondering if the developers see this if they could add a dark mode but I LOVE the app please keep updating it as an ADHD person this is exactly what I needed.

### 3/5 — Great app so far. Could use improvements though

*2024-12-11*

I’ve been using this habit tracker app for a few days, and while it’s effective for keeping me on track, there’s definitely room for improvement. I even subscribed to the premium version, but I don’t feel like I’m getting enough value for what I paid.

One recurring issue is with the habit reminders. Instead of getting a single notification as intended, I often receive multiple reminders for the same habit. This feels more disruptive than helpful.

Another frustrating issue is the random non-English text that appears in the app. Since I can’t read those languages, it’s confusing and detracts from the overall experience.

A key feature I think would be incredibly helpful is adding streak tracking. Seeing a streak for specific habits would add motivation to stay consistent. Additionally, the app could benefit from improved customization options, such as themes or backgrounds to make the interface more personal. Speaking of the interface, cleaning up the UI to make it more intuitive and polished would go a long way in improving usability.

Lastly, the app should include an AM/PM time option for users unfamiliar with the 24-hour clock format. This would make it much more accessible, especially for American users.

Overall, this app has a lot of potential, and I like the direction it’s heading. However, I hope the developers address these issues and suggestions in future updates to make it truly worth the premium subscription.
