### 1/5 — Frauds

*2026-06-19, version 4.78.0*

They have taken investors money for a future IPO for over 10 years with no out look to actually list or return investment even when requested. Criminal activity

### 1/5 — Poor performance & Not liquid

*2026-06-10, version 4.77.0*

The app interface works well but the overall performance does not. I’ve held my investments for nearly 5 years. It seems to fluctuate even when REITs are going up & the real estate market great. Plus I can’t just liquidate when I feel like it. I believe it’s end of quarter only. I do not recommend whatsoever, sorry

### 1/5 — Do Not Invest in Fundrise

*2026-06-03, version 4.77.0*

I’ve been a customer for 5 years and some change. Initially seemed fine until I went to pull my money out. I expected there to be a bit of a lag time (several months), but it has now been a year since I’ve been trying to pull my funds out and I’m being told there’s no end in sight for when my funds will be available are “paused” while they complete a merger. The customer support has been absolutely atrocious, it’s impossible to get in touch with a real person and when you do it’s only via email and they can’t give you any answers. Avoid this platform like the plague.

### 1/5 — Stolen account

*2026-05-29, version 4.77.0*

I get an ai response as to when i do my password reset and the system says unable to verify my last 4 digits of my SSN i went through the process of forgot password when i got to the ssn part the system cant verify. Its like my account was deleted i had lots of money in my account

### 2/5 — Bit scammy

*2026-05-12, version 4.75.0*

For letting 3k sit for years and only getting pennies to my dollars in returns I’ve been in the redemption process for almost a year now and might just open a new bank account so I don’t get charged a fee every year for having an account they can technically force to stay open. Best place for your money is where you can control it which is not with fundrise.

### 1/5 — Scam

*2026-04-30, version 4.75.0*

They took my money, didn’t invest it, and now I can’t get the money out. There are no real people to talk to and their AI chat trash just keeps sending me back to the Home Screen when I ask it how to pull my money out.

### 1/5 — Bad investment and app

*2026-04-19, version 4.74.0*

I’m not sure how this gets such good ratings. I made a small investment years ago. It’s been over three years and I kept waiting to recover the loss overtime trying to play the long game but it just it’s so slow and I finally just gave up and took the 10% loss and moved on. Takes a long time to get your money back I wouldn’t recommend using this at all.

### 4/5 — Decent returns but redemption process needs better transparency

*2026-04-15, version 4.73.1*

I used Fundrise for about 5 years starting in 2021. Overall returns were around 15% all-time, which felt pretty average for private real estate so not bad but not the strong passive income I was hoping for, especially with the volatility and periods where the account was in the red.
My main frustration was the redemption/liquidation process. It wasn’t clearly communicated upfront how long it could take (quarterly processing with potential delays), and when I decided to cash out, the money sat in ‘pending’ for weeks even after the shares showed as sold. That part was disappointing and made me lose confidence in the platform.
That said, when it mattered most, Fundrise came through faster than I expected on my recent redemption request. The funds hit my account earlier than the full quarterly cycle, which I really appreciated and helped me move forward with a big personal purchase without extra waiting stress.
If you’re okay with illiquid investments and longer redemption timelines, Fundrise can works but just understand realistic expectations on liquidity.

### 1/5 — Don’t be fooled by the positive reviews

*2026-04-13, version 4.73.1*

Suspicious positive reviews. This investment is the worst I have ever had. Very difficult to get money back.

### 1/5 — Just disappointed

*2026-04-06, version 4.73.0*

I have used Fundrise for 5 years and I got a all time return of 15% which is meh but then wanted to liquidate the funds and it literally took months to get my money back and their fees on top of it just ment I wasted 5 years with very little to show and months of just watching my money sit there even after it already showed they sold the shares.

### 1/5 — 4 years later...

*2026-08-15, version 4.82.0*

I am not a finance guy. I am a fitness trainer. I have numerous investment channels, including stocks and houses, FUNDRISE is my only investment which persistently LOST MONEY. I don't know who is running this operation, but it is safe to say they are not fiduciaries.

### 1/5 — Do not invest with Fundrise.

*2026-08-14, version 4.82.0*

The money goes up but getting the money out for any type of emergency is a huge hassle. I had money invested with Fundrise before they FORCED it in to a stock called VCX Fundrise, which had months of lockdown where they hold YOUR money. As of August 14th they’ve unlocked the stock so you can sell it but when they’ve transferred your property investment money into a stock they went with a program called computer share where they can’t help you if your computer share account is missing all of its stocks. So that’s where I’m at. I’ve put in money into property as an investment, they’ve locked it down for months then they took it all away. If you want to lose money and have them transfer it into stocks then when it disappears, they can’t help you.

### 1/5 — Scam

*2026-08-13, version 4.82.0*

It’s a scam don’t waste your money

### 1/5 — Lawsuit

*2026-07-30, version 4.81.1*

The returns on my investments through Fundrise have been abysmal. I have been trying to get my money out of Fundrise for the past two years. They release only small amounts and retain the majority despite my multiple attempts. I am getting ready to file a lawsuit against these crooks. Keep your money far away from these clowns.

### 1/5 — Scam

*2026-07-28, version 4.81.1*

It’s a scam you’ve been warned

### 1/5 — Next to useless

*2026-07-14, version 4.80.0*

If you were to put a $1000 under a mattress and wait 5 years you’d have the same results. The difference with the mattress method vs Fundrise is that you can retrieve that at any point while Fundrise has a heavy waiting period to withdraw. You’re losing to basic inflation using this

### 1/5 — Low Returns and Poor Liquidity

*2026-07-11, version 4.80.0*

Invested with Fundrise since 2018. Over 8 years, total return is 52.2% (~6% annualized). For over a year I've tried to redeem shares due to unacceptable performance but faced repeated delays and excuses. Even when finally can submit liquidation request, they decide how many shares will be liquidated. Think multiple times before investing, you've been warned.

### 1/5 — Unhelpful

*2026-07-09, version 4.80.0*

The app is as useless and unhelpful as the companies CEO and investor relations team.

### 1/5 — Trash Investment

*2026-07-07, version 4.79.0*

Invested in here during the pandemic. Just checked it today after not receiving any new emails or updates in a while. After 6 years my account is actually down $1 🤣🤣🤣

### 1/5 — Sketchy. They love money around to hold onto it.

*2026-07-02, version 4.79.0*

I sent in a redemption request for my money and it just so happens they moved it into a different fund so now I have to wait until next quarter to get it. I understand that they aren’t just singling me out but it’s a very frustrating tactic they used to hold onto money for longer. There is no reason they should be shuffling money around that they know we want to withdraw. Very sketchy.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Good alternative Investing App

*2026-07-22, version 4.80.0*

Easy to use. I plan on putting $10 a week into both their flagship and income funds and see what happens after a few years! Not my main investment obviously, but hard to pass up the opportunity at such a great entry point.

### 5/5 — Good For Alternative Investments

*2026-07-17, version 4.80.0*

Having some alternative investments in real estate has been easier in building wealth versus not having anything working so far. With good advisory waivers by saving towards your target goal. I’d say the dividends and appreciation are really nice. I love this app and have been using it for years.

### 5/5 — Widget

*2026-06-26, version 4.79.0*

Next app update should include a widget similar to fidelity. Thanks!

### 5/5 — Awesome

*2026-05-29, version 4.77.0*

Glad to have this

### 5/5 — So good

*2026-05-17, version 4.76.0*

It works

### 5/5 — Life Changing

*2026-05-16, version 4.76.0*

Happy long time investor

### 5/5 — Really happy I found this app!

*2026-05-07, version 4.75.0*

Im really happy to have found this app and to start investing through it.

For the development team: Could we please get a widget so we can quickly view our investments from the Home Screen? It would make tracking a lot more convenient.

Thanks!

### 5/5 — FundRise

*2026-03-20, version 4.72.0*

Excellent investment platform with outstanding communication

### 5/5 — Wow

*2026-03-19, version 4.72.0*

I was making small contributions over time to the innovator fund which had very solid returns. Didn’t pay any attention to notifications, and didn’t realize they were taking the innovator fund public as VCX. During today’s IPO, my $850 turned into $3,100 and climbing. I will definitely be using Fundrise more

### 5/5 — Good returns and communication

*2026-03-09, version 4.71.0*

I’ve been active on Fundraiser for a few years now, and I have no significant complainants. I’m content with the strong and steady, on-time dividend returns despite rough market conditions. I also appreciate the communication from Fundraise staff, shining light on optimistic trends and showcasing growth potential in an easy-to-follow dashboard.
