## What is Fungi?

Fungi is a mushroom identification application.

Fungi allows you to search among more than 1200 mushroom species using a dynamic description system based on hymenium type, cap shape, hymenium attachment type, stipe characters, spore-print color and/or ecological type.

Selecting a mushroom from the list matching your criteria gives you access to its Wikipedia page, complete with available pictures, description, scientific classification, ...

The complete Fungi database is included in the downloaded application providing full functionality where no network is available.

WARNING:
Correct mushroom identification is difficult. Do not ingest any wild mushroom until it has been checked by an expert mycologist.

Uses the standard table of mychological characteristics in the Wikipedia entries to display entries based on observed characteristics you enter. Great idea!

Wikipedia? Really? I bought this app for you to tell me in the first screen that this information was compiled off of Wikipedia? To me that is not worth my money. Thanks, but no thanks. I can use Wikipedia for FREE.

Je suis un fan de champignons et utilise votre appli régulièrement. Bravo pour l'avoir conçue, même si je pense que vous pouvez encore faire mieux !
- augmenter la part des fiches en français
- inclure des recettes ?
- rajouter des photos (on en a jamais assez !)

Great app, simple to use, good accurate content. A must for anyone interested in mycology or just Mushrooms in general. Has proved useful to me on many occasions. With more financial support this app could become an encyclopaedia of sorts... Imagine :)
