### 5/5 — Amazing features

*2025-03-07, version 1.5.0*

This app is everything that’s been missing in a skydiving app. Thank you Mr. Bindel!

### 5/5 — A must have

*2025-01-09, version 1.4.0*

This app is as close as it gets to a multi tool for skydivers. Check your load, check the winds, see who’s going on a certain day. I use it every time I’m at the DZ, or to check the weather when I’m planning to go.

### 5/5 — Love this app

*2025-01-09, version 1.4.0*

I really like having all the tools in one app.

### 5/5 — A must have.

*2025-01-09, version 1.4.0*

This app is a must have for skydivers. I use it everyday regardless if I’m jump that day or not.

### 5/5 — ALL IN ONE

*2025-01-08, version 1.4.0*

This app is incredibly user-friendly and serves as a comprehensive solution with excellent functionality.

### 5/5 — Every Skydiver Needs This!

*2025-01-08, version 1.4.0*

This is the easiest app to use it is so helpful and I wish every drop zone would start telling their AFF students when they are learning to get this app and get familiar with it! Anything that makes skydiving easier and better and safer is great and this app totally does that!

### 5/5 — Seems great, but it’s unusable for me right now

*2024-12-22*

This app looks amazing, another jumper showed me everything the app can do and I plan on using it in the future. As of now during the sign up / profile completion part when I go to select what kind of disciplines and proficiency it shuts down and says an error has occurred. Looking forward to this glitch being fixed so I can use it!

### 5/5 — Skydiver’s All-In-One Tool

*2024-09-16, version 1.1.12*

I absolutely love this app! Not only does it eliminate the need to use multiple other apps, it has some super helpful additional features.

✅ It’s got the DZ manifest board built in
✅you can list your disciplines, level of expertise, ratings, and check in to say that you’ll be there on whatever day. This allows other fun jumpers, especially new or new to the DZ, to be able to see who might be available to seek out for coaching, or general fun jumps
✅ it’ll show what load organizers will organizing on the DZ and you can send notification that you’re interested
✅you can manually set jump run by heading, offset, and green light prior to see the drift box and where you need to open based on the current wind conditions
✅ you can set your weather limits and the forecast will tell you hour by hour if you’re good to fly or not. Also shows you what the adverse factors are for that time period.

This is such a awesome tool with soo many great features pulled into one central place, and it has the potential to be even better!

Also to note that the developer is top notch! He’s super responsive to any issues you might be facing and very open to feedback and suggestions to make the app better.

10/10 would recommend!

### 5/5 — The only skydiving app you need

*2024-09-13*

This app is great and I really hope the whole community will start using it! The developer has put all my skydiving apps in one convenient place.

It already has nearly every feature you could ask for but the app is still being updated regularly and I think this could easily become the go to app for fun jumpers.

I look forward to seeing how the social features develop as the app gains a bigger user base.

The only thing this needs to make it better is mass adoption so download it now!

### 5/5 — Love this app

I work ground crew at SDU and use this multiple times during the day. Can’t imagine being without it now!

### 5/5 — Love this App

*2024-09-12, version 1.1.12*

Great app! Love the tandem check-info, so I know loads are going up. Also love that jumpers can check I for days so we know who’s going to be there. The more skydivers who use this app the better! Download it now & use it.

### 5/5 — Serious tool for me - use it daily.

*2024-06-04, version 1.1.7*

The funjumpr app is a game changer for my primary passion sport of skydiving. I started jumping out of planes in 1998 - and I find this app making it so much easier to figure out what day or days it makes sense to jump for the upcoming seven days at a glance. It makes the actual jumps safer by being able to see the effects the winds aloft will have on the jumps clearly and memorably by posting them on an aerial photo of my drop zone where I jump several times a week. I also get to see who else is going to come on a given day that is a good match for my abilities - and also see whether tandems are scheduled for when I come out, ensuring that loads will go up.

The drop zone is a three hour round trip drive for me - so making the go/no go decision is a crucial one for my busy schedule. The app shows the predicted winds and weather hour by hour - so when you combine that with scheduled tandems, and who else is going, that decision is much easier to make. Previously I had to go to a lot of different websites to get all of this information, and funjumpr makes it a quick-flowing dynamic decision.

You input your own wind limits into your profile - so if the winds exceed your personal limits the app paints a red line down the right side of the hourly weather and you know immediately there’s an issue with your jumping that day.

The aerial photo of my drop zone with an adjustable arrow for the jump run is invaluable for planning safe skydives. My responsibility is to consult with the pilot and or dz staff/dz notification board and then input the actual/scheduled jump run onto the aerial map in the app. Once this is done, the app then shows a predicted “drift box” for where canopies should open. This makes the app a great tool for planning both canopy landing patterns (especially for newer jumpers) and for planning movement/angle jumps. You use a finger to draw planned movement jumps for up to 4 different groups to make sure conflicts will be avoided. The technical savvy to do this is easy even for a Senior citizen like me.

But the icing on the cake is the ability to see the wind directions in freefall, canopy flight, and ground altitudes laid out clearly on the aerial map. You see the windspeed and direction the winds are blowing right on the map. My drop zone has a runway with a 40/220 degree heading - so being able to understand the wind directions at a glance eliminates a chunk of mental math in translating the wind numbers to what’s actually happening.

There’s a lot of other features in this app- but the ones I have described above are those that have had the biggest impact on me personally as well as being the ones with the biggest implications for our sport as a whole. I wish my AFF instructor could have used the aerial map to show me how the winds were going to affect my first jumps from top to bottom.

Also - it’s important to note that while many drop zones are already in the app with their aerials, some are not in yet - but adding them is easy as there is a “+” in the lower right corner on the worldwide map which is found on the upper right tab on the top global menu bar for every page in the app. It’s easy to get a drop zone added.

I know more features are under development - as I jump at the same DZ as the developer - so stay tuned. What I have written above here is strictly about the benefits I have personally derived from using the app.

It’s a winner.

### 5/5 — Best skydiving app

*2024-05-06, version 1.1.6*

This is by far the best app out there for sport jumpers. It has replaced at least 3 different apps for me. This and burble are all you need!

### 5/5 — Amazing Skydiving App!

*2024-04-12, version 1.1.5*

This app is so cool! It allows you to make a profile and add a photo, include your jump number and all that. It also has a social feature that people can say they are going on a certain day, and you can see who will be there! It’s also amazing to have the burble board and weather in the app. Super cool and user friendly, I’d give it 10/5 if I could.

### 5/5 — Must have if you’re a skydiver

*2024-03-30, version 1.1.5*

No more running back and forth to check the lock clock cuz this app has it all! Super easy consumer experience! I’ve been using it pretty most days before I jump! From the moment you download the app, you're greeted with a sleek interface designed which is super easy to use for anyone. Insanely easy to navigate!

### 1/5 — What am I missing?

*2025-04-13, version 1.5.3*

I downloaded this, and I’m not seeing any of the info from the screenshots on the listing. It’s literally just showing me the webpage with the winds aloft forecast.

### 4/5 — Please add Piedmont

*2024-03-26, version 1.1.5*

4 stars for now would be nice to add Piedmont Skydiving in Salisbury, NC.

### 4/5 — Good improvements from kick off

*2024-03-14, version 1.1.2*

DZ’s are graciously being added as needed. Some account verification issues that arose appear to be corrected. App appears that it will be useful, especially as more users begin to utilize it and the who’s going when feature. Definitely looking forward to seeing how it develops and is improved with time and use.

### 5/5 — The skydiving app we’ve been waiting for

*2025-08-08, version 1.7.1*

I downloaded this app a couple of months ago and was immediately struck with how convenient and user friendly it was. Every disparate website, app, etc. that skydivers rely on to stay informed was now in one place, with an intuitive user interface. Since my initial download, the app has continued to improve. I had the privilege of meeting the developer, John, last week and was impressed again with his passion to expand Funjunper’s reach. I’m excited to see what comes next!

### 5/5 — Amazing app - and keeps getting better

*2025-07-31, version 1.7.1*

I use this every time I go skydiving. It has great features like seeing who is going to the drop zone and being able to see weather information and load times.

The app keeps getting updates and getting better every time, a must have app.

## Most praised reviews (3 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Everything you need to know in one place 🤘🏽

*2025-07-14, version 1.6.1*

I am so thankful that someone finally developed this app. Me and some friends just went on a 1600 mile road trip to Florida and this app enabled us to chase the weather and not miss a day jumping. It gives me comfort knowing that even if they do not know jump run, I do because it is very convenient in my pocket.
Highly recommend this for anyone that is serious about safety 🪂

### 5/5 — The “all-in-one” 🌟

*2025-06-29, version 1.6.1*

With the ability to link with Burble is also a huge plus!
This is a great all-in-one app for fun jumprs and diver drivers!
