Cloud Service Subscription Service Description
1. We offer two types of Cloud Service :
Premium Cloud  $4.99/month ($49.99/year)
Platinum Cloud  $9.99/month ($99.99/ year)
*Prices displayed are for one device, the package price depends on the quantity of devices. 
2. Subscribing to Cloud Service will be paid directly through the iTunes account.
3. 24 hours before the subscription service expires, the system will automatically renew and deduct the corresponding fees according to the plan type.
4. If you need to unsubscribe, please do so at least 24 hours before renewal date  in the "Account Settings".

Cameras freeze up when someone or something triggers it so you can't see who or what it is. Now these annoying ads to take up precious time! I am regretting more and more paying for cameras that are basically useless now!

Used to be a great app for my camera system. Now I can’t even open the app without it crashing half the time trying to open up a camera view. And the ads… why? I’m not sending an email to Funlux support either. They are aware of all the issues at this point and have fixed nothing.

Which idiot thought it was a good idea to put ads in a security app? I get notifications and instead of being able to click and see immediately what’s going on I have to stop to clear ads, and I’m already paying for my subscriptions. This is the dumbest update ever especially when the app was already iffy and the so called descriptions of events are usually inaccurate.

Update 5/26/2026:
The developer wants me to reach out to support via email to describe my troubles with dark mode. The developer should be able to see that it’s totally removed. Every screen on the app used to work as traditional dark mode. I run every app on my iPhone in dark mode and I do the same thing with my PC. I avoided the Zmodo App for years because it has no dark mode. I am not talking about just the screen around the cameras view. I am talking every page in the app.

Secondly. The adds are annoying. It’s a shame you feel the need to bother me with them so that you can support the app. If your corporate owners would have realized you had the best NVR system with wi-fi cams for the price and would have stuck with it instead of trying to force everyone into way too expensive cloud service, you wouldn’t need the adds. Also, I fail to see how any of the adds you are running, interest anyone who wants a security cam app. the add that particulary bothers me is the bogus malware advertisement that tells me my iPhone is infected. The only infection on my iPhone are that the zmodo and funlux apps are infected with bothersome advertisements.  iPhones cannot be infected as long as the user only gets adds from the app store.

THIS WAS ALWAYS MY GOTO APP FOR MY ZMODO AND FUNLUX CAMS (even though any functions to install new cams would not work because they hadn’t updated the app for so long) BECAUSE THE PREVIOUS VERSION HAD DARK MODE. I seen the latest update and reluctantly clicked it. Now True Dark Mode has been removed. I prefer dark mode because I am older and I also now have cataracts in my eyes. Why can’t you folks learn not to break what doesn’t need fixing? Restore dark mode and I’ll give you five stars. Right now you get two stars and I’m considering 1 star.

The app itself works, but the advertisements being served are extremely concerning for a surveillance/security camera app. I was shown fake “your device has been hacked” scareware-style ads claiming my phone was infected after visiting adult websites and telling me to install cleanup software from the App Store.

This is not acceptable behavior for an app that users trust to monitor their homes. Whether these ads come from a third-party ad network or not, they damage trust in the platform and make the app feel unsafe and unprofessional.

Please review the advertising providers being used and remove deceptive/malicious ads immediately.

I and 11 other subscribers will be seeking alternatives.

I've had this app for quite a few years now and I subscribe to the cloud and well open up the app today and there is a pop up ad before I can even view my cameras. I asked for a refund and to cancel my service with them and they said no refunds! I don't want something  pay for the service and ads. Ridiculous.
