It worked well and then I was prompted to update it to improve quality. Since then, the app no longer connects to the device. They don’t have phone support and the chat feature put me into a queue, it counts down the people in front of you and then does nothing. It's been getting worse over the past year and is just unusable now. We didn't need AI "updates", we just needed to see our pets and throw them treats when we're not home. We will keep the app because we have the device, but we cancelled our subscription. I wanted the cheaper up front camera/treat flipper up front so purchased the “subscription required” option on Amazon. The subscription is an AI nanny that is beyond annoying and invasive. Even when you ask it to stop asking you things it follows up with another question. I canceled subscription but since I paid for a year it won’t go away. I hope when the subscription expires I can just use the camera/treat flip option. Some nights i can connect while i’m at work but sometimes it just shuts off and won’t work for hours . there’s nothing wrong with my internet everything else in the house still is connected to wifi and works its just the furbo that disconnects for zero reason. ### 1/5 — It really works correctly *2026-08-03, version 7.80.0* This Furbo thing is about the worst purchase I’ve ever made well at least on a subscription that I had no choice, but to get the subscription in order to use the thing, my daughter bought the unit and gave it to me the trees are always getting stuck and it never turns all the way, and it will give me a message has reached his limitation I can’t move any further. I reset it and it may work a couple of times that’s it and all of the treats get stuck all of the time. I wish I really had something good to say about it, but I really don’t nothing on it. Not an internet connection issue. Doesn’t tell me when my dog barks anymore, when it used to tell me my dog was barking when he wasn’t. He would be next to me. I would get the notification if I spoke though. Turns out, they’re offering a service you have to pay for that will detect your dog’s barking 30% better, so they only messed with that just to get you to pay cause nothing actually changed. They just want you to buy that service, so they purposefully made it more sensitive to noise, if you don’t have the service, so you would get it. I was getting a barking notification every five seconds, when there was no barking. ### 1/5 — WHY AM I BEING BAITED INTO A SUBSCRIPTION?? *2026-07-07, version 7.79.0* I bought this camera to watch my dog while i’m at work which doesnt seem like it will be possible considering i have to factory reset the camera EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. In order to use the camera function. And when i exit the camera I’m immediately asked to subscribe?? Not sure if its a bug or i’m being baited to subscribe but this is not what i paid for. Sometimes I accidentally click the delete button instead of the share button and it automatically deletes the video. Thankfully, we were able to run home and get her so we could rush her to the vet (she has other health conditions as well) She has severe pancreatitis and we are so thankful Furbo alerted us to this so we could expedite her care and treatment. Truly love the alerts and our nanny videos and reports.
