### 4/5 — A good start

*2013-08-04, version 1.7*

An excellent and exciting way for young children to learn a range of different topics. Could do with being a little bit UK friendly and possibly more question sets for the older children (maths, in particular). Still, the option - although time consuming - to generate your own question sets allows you to tailor learning to children's needs.

### 4/5 — Buffer

*2013-01-14, version 1.5*

Would be nice to set buffers for older kids so that they have to wait before their buttons are active... Gives younger siblings a chance.

### 5/5 — Fabulous app

*2013-01-07, version 1.5*

I can thoroughly recommend this app as it not only allows students to use it in a multiplayer situation, but it also allows the teacher or parent to input their own sets for use. There is even a manual to download to assist with understanding how to use the app as well as useful suggestions as to how it can be used in schools.

It could also be used by older students to design sets for younger ones or just to show that they have understood certain concepts. Not only images, but also text This would also lead to the use of higher order thinking skills.

Most of all it is fun & allows students not only to learn, but to enjoy the process as well.

### 4/5 — Great!

*2012-12-11, version 1.5*

My favorite times in the classroom are when the kids are playing a game to learn or practice a skill. In these times, I am not the linchpin keeping them engaged, the game is! This game has afforded us many of such moments! One thing that makes this game great is that the teacher can customize it with our own content. I'd give it 5 stars but, I haven't been able to find/access the thousands of game sets I'm sure other teachers have made.

### 4/5 — Almost Perfect!

*2012-11-29, version 1.5*

My class loves using this app! I REALLY like the option of using sound! It would be great if there was some way to share question sets with coworkers or students by email.

### 5/5 — Great for home

*2012-11-09, version 1.4*

We play this as a family and everyone has fun. It's great that you can create your own games too.

### 5/5 — FURABA classroom games

*2012-11-06, version 1.4*

Fantastic app which my students love! So easy to create quick games and NOW with the added bonus of being able to record audio directly into the app, makes it an excellent tool for Languages teachers. I teach Japanese and can type in script directly.

### 5/5 — Love app

*2012-11-05, version 1.4*

Love the app, is it still available to buy?

### 5/5 — Fabulous!

*2012-09-08, version 1.3*

This app is amazing! Once you get the hang of creating your own games it's so easy to use! My first graders love the games I have created that are customized to Common Core curriculum. I created a game with their pictures where the students have to match student names to their fence and they love it.

### 5/5 — Terrific for differentiating instruction

*2012-07-18, version 1.3*

I had the original Futaba and thought it was a terrific concept. The Classroom Games version had some growing pains with crashes at the beginning but the developers are very responsive. I love that you can now enter text for the questions. I just spent 20 minutes creating a money game and a sight words game geared to my Summer School students levels. Thanks for a wonderful app!

### 5/5 — The Best App Ever

*2012-07-08, version 1.3*

I wanted to buy a Smart Table, but $6,000 was not in my budget. This app saved me a lot of money. It does not do all that the Smart Table can do, but at $5.00 I don't need the table. I wanted the table so that four students could pay a game together. This app does just that.
I was able to save all of my files with your Internet backup. Then I transferred everything to my classroom iPad. It worked perfectly!
Thanks a million!

### 4/5 — Futaba fan

*2012-06-29, version 1.3*

Used this game as a center at summer school for kids entering Kindergarten this fall. They loved the game! Great way to differentiate practice and review for kids with varying needs and skill levels. Look forward to using with First Grade during the school year for vocabulary review, math facts and many other ideas. Great purchase for the classroom!

### 1/5 — I really don't like to sound.

*2014-11-30, version 2.4*

This is a good app to a point. At the beginning, I like it a lot. Then, I really bother me of the duck duck duck sound when it gets to count down the seconds. What is pain? Hear the duck duck duck is awful 😱. So, I deleted this app for a year. Download again to give it a try. No change, I wish there is an add on button to remove this awful duck duck duck sound. Please help to improve it. This could be a wonderful app.

### 1/5 — Disappointed

*2013-05-23, version 1.7*

I give this upgrade a 1 because it wiped out the dozen games I had created to fit my students' needs. This is a warning to everyone who has not upgraded yet. You will lose all the work you put into making up your own games if you upgrade, like me you will find you have to do all the research and designing over again! Wait until they have fixed this problem before upgrading

### 1/5 — This app crashes

*2013-03-07, version 1.6*

This app won't open on my iPad...waste of money.

### 1/5 — Don't bother

*2012-09-23, version 1.3*

Confusing app. Rubbish, don't bother waste of money. All money in dollars.

### 1/5 — Not working

*2012-04-29, version 1.2.1*

When I first downloaded this app it was great. It ran a total of 2 times.

Now, it will not open past the title screen.

If they cannot get it fixed, don't waste your money!

### 1/5 — Won't get past title screen

*2012-03-28, version 1.2*

I bought this app on my computer and synced it to my iPad. It wouldn't load. I closed out all my other apps and restarted the iPad and it still wouldn't load. I deleted the app and tried to download again directly to the iPad over wifi. Still doesn't work. This is on an iPad 2

### 2/5 — Crashing

*2025-02-15, version 2.7*

Keep on crashing I cannot do anything

### 2/5 — Great customer service!

*2013-11-17, version 2.0*

The students in my kindergarten class used to love this game and then they updated it and it stopped working. I sent an email to the company and they got back to me within a day with an apology and promise that they were working on it. A few days later they emailed again asking me to download the newest version and it now works wonderfully again!
This is a great multiplayer game for Kindergarten thru at least 4th grade. It has lots of options to customize what kids are practicing. I'm so thrilled that my students will again be able to practice sight words, counting and phonics on it!

### 5/5 — Super App...

*2014-10-21, version 2.3*

Just purchased this app and my students love it. Already has loaded lots of questions that are related to our grade level. Even better....I can even make my own questions related to what I am teaching. Worth every penny...

### 5/5 — Love it!

*2014-03-24, version 2.2*

I am not a teacher, but I love this app. I was tired of games that aren't educational and losing pieces to my child's board games. This app is perfect for me. It has some pre-programmed games that you can customize by grade, subject and difficulty. I have begun to create my own games based on worksheets he has brought home from school or books we have read the game is still fun for me to play because it's who ever taps in first. The possibilities are endless with this one.

### 5/5 — Crashing

*2013-11-01, version 1.9*

I have used Futaba with success until today and LOVE it. All of a sudden it is crashing every time I open the app. I'm hoping a fix is in the works.

### 5/5 — Awesome for classrooms!

*2013-10-08, version 1.8*

This has a simple, but fun, game format that works in single player or multiplayer mode for up to 4 students. It is great for "drill," review, or those topics students need to practice a lot.

It has a variety of games to choose from, or teachers can create games of their own.

When I had trouble with a step, they answered my email, and then called me. Their tech support was excellent. They also have several tutorials and an intuitive GUI that makes most processes pretty clear.

### 5/5 — Love it!

*2013-08-29, version 1.7*

I was looking for an alternative to a smart table. I needed something that did not take up as much space or have such a hefty price tag. My needs were answered when I discovered the Futaba App! I am a preschool teacher and I was not sure my 4-year olds would be able to utilize the preset games especially at the beginning of the school year. First, I was thrilled to discover how easy it is to create my own games with pictures or text. Seriously, I created three games to reinforce letters, numbers, and even classmate names in less than 20 minutes! Second, I was pleasantly surprised that I could turn questions on and off in the preset games to adjust to what my students were currently learning. I tell every teacher I see about the beauty and flexibility of this app. For those teaching higher grades, games exist for math facts, sight words, states, presidents, etc. This is the perfect app for some friendly competition in your classroom!

### 5/5 — Absolutely love it

*2013-05-14, version 1.7*

Though some teething problems on sound volume and working out the code entry on class iPads I have found this to be exceptionally engaging for 7-9yo students (but would not limit it to that). The high level of engagement, team work, peer support, competition, and transfer of skills has been really encouraging. I have created decks to cater for subitising and grapheme phoneme correspondence to brilliant effect. The power is in the personalising. Cheers!

### 5/5 — Powerful App for Creating

*2013-04-20, version 1.6*

I love that I can customize my own Agnes to meet the needs of my students. Multiplayer aspect really helps when you only have one or just a few iPads in the classroom. The ability to input audio with my game questions is so helpful for early readers!

### 5/5 — Love futaba!

*2013-01-24, version 1.6*

I use this app with my ESOL students to review Common Core vocabulary from their content classes. They enjoy playing; they love the competition. I love that I can add my own content!
