You pay for the magazines, yet you have to connected to view. The more magazines you download the slower the app is to open. I presently have a 128gb iPad Air 2, I have all the back catalogue downloaded and now the app won’t open, it simply stalls showing a blank screen. My older 32 bit iPad 4 has about a dozen magazines downloaded and has no problems opening. And this is how it stays. Get an issue and start learning. I think it deserves better technology. ### 5/5 — MY FAVORITE MAGAZINE FOR LIFE *2015-01-16, version 3.8.1* THANKS FOR MAKING THIS MAGAZINE it's the only magazine I buy now besides FUTURE MUSIC but 14 years I knew this was gonna happen,I tried getting all my friends to try out daws and my first love fruity loops, but no one listened to me, I have friends taking classes about stuff it took me years to understand, and figure out by making hundreds of horrible songs that I loved cuz they were like my babies a created lol , but really great magazines guys I've been buying every back issue I missed, u guys are the best, I don't even wont a career in music I just do it for fun, and thanks for all the goodies every month, I'm like a kid on Christmas, JUST DONT PUT IN A SOCK VST LOL ### 5/5 — Good! *2015-01-05, version 3.8.1* Had this for a year or more and am VERY satisfied. Shame that the mag apps are so clunky to get to read a magazine. Once i disconnect from the internet i can no longer see the magazine covers. Wasn’t like this before the revamp. Could you all fix this? I went through numerous emails and then I tried something different and all of a sudden it worked. I was not happy with tech-support in any means. Its non-existent unless you search through the magazine to find secret words and log in online and give answers. Its so extremely time-consuming, painful and plain stupid especially finding multiple words with every issue. It's utterly ridiculous how your treated like a criminal not a paying customer. Why can't they just send me a link when they notify me of the new issue to download each month? NOTHING. After all that waiting, the app still asks me for my password many times, I type it and in, and still nothing downloads, nothing about this update appears to have changed. Maybe they thought the problem was all in the user's mind? Support is horrible. Haven't heard back after contacting them a week ago about not being able to restore my 7 subscriptions, the iPad currently says 6, and my iPhone says 7. I've tried restarting, deleting the app, all of the things they recommend, nothing. They'd better come out with a fix soon for this. ### 1/5 — Won't download my purchase *2012-12-28, version 2.2.5* I purchased the latest issue. It got hung up downloading and just says waiting. When I close the app and re-open the purchase button is back. When it try to purchase it tells me I already own it and gets hung up on waiting again. It works on iPhone5. Some videos don't not work. I have reported it to them last year, but the same videos that had issues before, still do. Jody Wisternoff interview in Aug 2012 will not play and others ### 5/5 — Still the Best Source for Cutting Edge Audio *2015-12-18, version 4.4.1* I've been reading Future Music since 1999 when I worked for Barnes & Noble bookstores in the US. They have the best blend of informative essays, reviews, tutorials and insightful interviews in my opinion. They're not Mix or Sound On Sound, nor are they meant to be. Future Music & Computer Music are more about the artists & producers and how they work, in turn, that which works for fans too. I have 28 issues on my iPad alone without ever having any problems. Highly recommended! ### 5/5 — Great stuff *2015-08-29* Excellent value for money. Both Computer Music and Future Music make learning about production a pleasure. My only gripes are that you aren't always returned to the page you were reading but have to click through from the front page of the app again...also I'm often offered deals for back issues I already own hard copies of. I'd like to have them digitally too but don't want to pay twice.
