I always loved the idea of writing to myself during difficult or even proud moments. I would even write to myself for my birthdays. As soon as I found out they had an app, I downloaded it and loved it. Only today I opened the app and realized they have done some sort of website integration. It made the app horrible. To the makers and developers of Future Me… I implore you to reverse this change you have made. Thanks for the many years of use. I hope you hear my request. I recently uploaded the new update and absolutely hate it. After I send a letter, I’m stuck on the screen that forces me to pay and you can’t exit out of it or go back to the original screen. I have to exit out the app and reopen it each time. I used to be able to upload a photo or video for free and now there’s this emphasis on paying. I hate the design of the new app. It just lost that sentimental feeling of sending yourself a future letter. I’m gonna start looking for a different app to send myself future letters on ### 1/5 — Greedy company/ *2026-04-26, version 2.0.0* I have been using FutureMe since mid 2018 and I have loved it. One of my favorite parts of it is how you could write unlimited FREE letters to yourself and you’d only have to pay if you wanted to attach a video or picture. Today I tried to write a letter to myself and when I go to send the letter it says I have to pay $2 to just send the letter!! I’m appalled and disappointed in them. I will no longer be using this app to send my letters. But now I find it impossible to use. The last letter I invested time in didn’t send to me, and even today when I tried to write a new letter, it wouldn’t let me through the email validation/ confirmation address. It’s also covered in pop-ups. Yet another lovely idea destroyed by greed. And you know what? I absolutely adore the app, and love sending letters to myself since 2020! I wanted to write a new letter today but the app seems to be not working? When I enter the app it is like it bringing me on the website. Which is weird because the app was working fine one week ago. I tried to delete it and then re download it, it stays the same.
