But I can see where some elements could be added to make it more interesting. Such as, perhaps a ball that is a wild and can be moved to ANY spot on the board without a clear path. Or a colored ball that can be "swapped" with any other colored ball. Move the balls around a square grid and match those of the same color. The move you move the balls around, the more new balls pop up around the grid causes potential traffic jams.
