It’s helped my reading speed and comprehension so much! I’m so happy to have this app! A few ways I think it could improve that would help the overall usability of the app is 1) a scroll feature instead of having to swipe pages. It’s especially frustrating because once I scroll to the bottom of a page, when I move to the next page it’s at the bottom of the next page automatically for some reason and 2 the ability to organize files into folders Overall though I’m glad this app is giving people access to the bionic font! ### 3/5 — Doesn’t allow you to print converted text *2022-10-29, version 3.7* I use his app to help with my reading speed and comprehension for college. It does help me read better, but I wish I could print off the texts I have converted to the bionic reading font. I understand that they might not include that due to the fact that you can convert books which are likely to be copyrighted, but it’s difficult when I need a physical copy of a Academic Essay or Article. I often need a physical copy of more dense readings for college so that I can take notes on the physical copy easily so I don’t forget what I have learned or so that I have a copy that makes it easy for me to bring up interesting and important topics on the reading in class. This app does wonders for reading and comprehension, it’s just a disappointment that they don’t have a printing feature. ### 2/5 — Don’t waste your money! *2022-07-21, version 3.7* It worked well until: advertised here by this developer was an option to download the resulting document to your device but this feature, although it exists doesn’t work and gets stuck. I wrote the company asking for clarifications. They never got back to me. There’s an app that’s free and you can mail yourself the finished file. It’s called SpeedyRead. I’m an idiot for having paid for the current one that I’m reviewing which is useless. ### 3/5 — Love the concept but.. *2022-07-16, version 3.7* I’m using this app on a nail tech textbook and it does help me read (this concept was amazing and very helpful. I’m diagnosed autistic and I most likely have adhd as a comorbidity.) My complaint is that when I take a photo of the book’s page to be translated it doesn’t line up every word correctly. I know it’s a new app and new concept and I’ll change my review as soon as the defect is fixed. ### 2/5 — Some nerve *2022-07-07, version 3.6* Some nerve charging $12.99/week!! This app could really help ADHDrs and all readers. Pretty outlandish prices for an app with 43 reviews. Greedy. ### 3/5 — Needs more work *2022-06-27, version 3.6* I was super excited about this app because I am a slow reader (and likely have ADHD). I was able to read a PDF with no issue, but the app does not seem to communicate with book apps. I cannot use this to read novels on my books or kindle apps. 3 stars because it does mostly what it says, but would get 5 if I could import ebooks from other phone apps. ### 4/5 — IN LOVE WITH IT *2022-06-15, version 3.4* I LIKE THIS APP SO MUCH. Please let me know if you want anything else to be added. ### 3/5 — Nice app idea but doesn’t work *2022-05-26, version 1.5* When you put in the URL for the website you can’t scroll and when you just copy and paste it in there you can’t scroll either. It doesn’t bionic all of the words. Needs a lot more work. Yeah, I’ll give it one more chance. Also, I’m a web developer if you need any help let me know. **Developer response:** Hello! I’m so disappointed. I tried to quit and reload the app several times and every time the review ad pops up and won't let me out to read my pdf. The window doesn't adjust well to changing sizes though I've tried to make the window bigger and smaller to see if I can change the format of the review ad but it won't go away. I just want to read my pdf. **Developer response:** Oh! I've been reported about this problem. I fixed the annoying rating popping up problem in the current version. I'll release it within 3 days. All I kept seeing were ads to upgrade to premium. For what they want I expect to be able to try to see if this even works. And I was unable to figure that out. When you download the app in the beginning notes the app creator asks for people to please send him feedback. I found some issues, emailed them, got an almost immediate reply that acknowledged my concern, & assured me they would work on it. He was very grateful to hear constructive criticism. Since then the app has gotten some updates & fixed a lot of the issues! Words can't describe how EXCITED I am for this to be a fully functioning app, I just enrolled back in school & a lot of the reading can be done online but I chose to get hard copies because it's so hard for me to read for long periods.
