Hopefully the remaining claims are less of an issue and is processed as fast as the first one! So far holding my opinion but seems pretty okay so far. If anything can dev not reset the whole claim process when we change windows to check on our doc information? It’s very troublesome to have to restart everything when we need to check just one piece of info each time. ### 2/5 — Unable to make payment *2025-03-18, version 2.4.2* Bro your payment flow disappears when I switch apps to approve payment from my credit card. While buying travel insurance, there's a step requires me to approve OTP on my bank app. The issue is whenever I swipe out of FWD and swipe back in, the page reset to Check your price app, and the back button is not working anymore. Had to kill the app and use SMS OTP way to make payment... I am a returning customer, have been buying through your website for at least 5 times, was forced to use your mobile app for the TRAVELAPP promo this round .. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Crashes every time upon claim submission *2026-06-08* What a piece of junk. While the policies are decent the app is horrible. Auto entry of otp doesn’t work correctly, and every time I had to submit any claim the app crashes after you typed in and uploaded everything and click on submit. Every single time. Looks like they really don’t want you submitting claims. P.S. updating the review several years after the above. This app is still a piece of junk. It doesn’t load any of my policies active or expired, just shows a blank page no matter what. This is ridiculous. **Developer response:** We are sorry to hear of the difficulties you faced while trying to submit the claim via the app. Please share your issue and details with us at contact.sg@fwd.com and we will look into it at the earliest. ### 1/5 — Worst app *2025-10-14, version 2.4.7* Worst insurance app UX and incredibly, seems to be getting worse. Even the bots can’t bring themselves to leave more than 3 stars anymore. Don’t waste your time. Saving a few dollars is not worth the grief this app will give you. ### 1/5 — Junk *2025-06-14* Someone says the app is junk. I couldn’t open it at all. So it’s still a piece of junk! Hmmm, time to move to other insurers since FWD takes its customers for granted. ### 1/5 — Disappointing experience *2025-05-16, version 2.4.4* I bought an annual plan, recently encountered a theft case that I had to do claim. The APP is not user friendly and I had to shift to web. Claim experience was also bad, took 5 months to come back after a few calls to follow up. The claim reimbursement is surprisingly low because no receipts due to the theft. I need to fill in at least four time by at least having my credit card in hand. Once you switched task to the other app (eg. to check WhatsApp for IC details or to UOB app to approve purchase) everything is lost in FWD app and have to start all over again. Basically can’t buy in app for most people.
