FX Live 3 is a powerful sound cue control application designed for theater use but suitable for all live productions. Far more than a simple cart machine, this highly responsive and intuitive application allows you to design and automate complex audio and video elements for any live production. FX Live 3 fully unlocks the potential of the iPad as a professional show FX controller. It features the ability to sequence multiple virtual FX players with programmable crossfades between the different elements. In app purchase provides full access to EQ and DSP effects along with the ability to send and receive MIDI messages. Also included is the multimedia option allows photos and videos to be included in shows with smooth mixed and fades between them. This can be done at the same time as playing audio elements. We've done 2 years with it now and it really does make a difference. It's a specialised piece of software so it's normal to have to pay more than for your usual app, but it's still great value for money. I had several people asking me if I was a sound professional this year! Perform Screen: Toggleable Cue Notes Panel The Cue notes panel on the perform screen can now be toggled between showing the current cue's notes and the next cue's notes. A colored indicator (green for current, gold for next) shows which cue's notes are being displayed. Tap the panel or the toggle button to switch between views. Perform Screen: Next Cue Name on GO Button The GO button now displays the name of the next cue centred beneath the GO text, so operators can always see what will fire next at a glance. Perform Screen: Elapsed Time on Active Effects Each active effect card now shows an elapsed time clock alongside the existing countdown clock, giving operators a clear view of both how long an effect has been playing and how much time remains. Bug Fixes Perform Screen: Music cue volume adjustments now saved correctly Adjusting the volume slider for incidental music effects on the perform screen now correctly saves the level back to the cue's Music effect. Previously, changes were applied to the audio in real-time but lost on the next cue fire. The volume is also correctly applied when the cue is replayed or recued. Note: performance mode still prevents any level changes from being saved. Fixed an issue when going to the settings screen could cause an audio level change.
